I live in Cambridge actually, in an area with quite a few trees. Still, my best friend lives very close and can see into my house very easily, especially if I'm in the conservatory (but let's face it; in this weather, why would I be in there??)

It was different a while back though love... as soon as you logged in someone said hello, then everyone eventually noticed you were in the house and a nice friendly banter began... it seems to be all little clique's these days... not just here in UK'ers, but everywhere on lit... if you aint in the gang, you don't join in.

So many times I hop in with my cheerful hello... only to be totally ignored... maybe a reply to someone's question... totally ignored again... this is all a bit alien to me having been brought up to be polite enough to at least reply to people... and having been on chat boards... lit a while back included... where people had such manners... damn shame a lot still don't.
