Superman? Really?

Hmmmmm.......

As the story is set right now, it will be a little while before the Dude of Steel makes an appearance. He's still gotta heal and rest up and all that...

But....

But....

Feel free to indulge yourself. I'd be glad to have you aboard as Krypton's Last Son.

More like the civil war between those heroes not wishing to reveal their personal information for all to know or to be dogs of the government and those heroes who wish to become governmentally hired mercenaries and accepted for who they are and nto who they appear to be.

Oh no protect me from the army of the black thorns oh dear army of the red petals! *chuckles* Sorry just had to do that, with a name like War of the Roses I couldn't ressit.

Either way, it would still be better than that Michael Douglas/Kathleen Turner movie.

On that, there was a resolution reached mainly due to the interaction between Thor and Iron Man.

Thor pretty much convinced Tony and the govermental bodies to stay out of the lives of the superheroes. The organizations (Avengers, JLA, etc) exist to protect Earth as a whole, and not serve one particular government. Kinda like the Jedi - as long as the government is within the righteous realm, then the heroes are allies. Go to the dark side, and well, you've opened a can of whoop ass.

Was Captain America's death still a direct result of that conflict?

Yeah, I think we will keep that in canon.

One of the reasons that Thor and Iron Man still have a lot to work out.

And Thor, of course, still holds a bit of that grudge. You know those Asgardians....memories as long as a blue whale's thingy.

k. i am still reading the IC & dealing with kids.

I'll contact you further about future posting

(BTW, if you haven't seen Planet Hulk check it out. Killer scene with Beta Ray Bill!!!!)

Heh we norsemen hold a lot of grudges sometimes, though we are forgiving the next, kind of annoying as I am not sure if we are either because of this. *scratches his neck*

I believe the correct anatomical terminology is "dork."

But, yes, I take your point. :: nodnod ::
