Colossus

Peter heard Wolverine call his name. Looking back to where his sister was, Peter was torn as to whether to stay and protect the girls, or to go see what Logan needed. He was relieved when he saw Logan and the stranger carrying Beast inbetween them. Beast did not look good, an ashen grey color did not suit him well. Peter was about to ask what had happened when Magik said "Time to go. " They all stepped into the rift and were teleported to the X-plane.

They all looked back as an explosion rocked the base. Two of the guard towers rocketed up in the air, flying 100 feet before landing back on the ground. A blasted pile of rubble was all that was left of the base. Peter felt bad for an humans that may have been trapped in the explosion, but then he caught himself. The mutants had not started this conflict with the humans. The humans had struck first with the Sentinels. Shaking his head at his conflicting emotions, Peter boarded the X-plane.

Wild Card Helped Get Beast On the X-Jet " Ok yall can keep Da file i tossed pitie over Dere its got yalls name al oover it. but I got to go"

He said as he pointed to magick with onne hand and puled his File out with the other And fliped it open to see what it said. His Mind raced as he read That he Was A Genticly engernierd Person . The list of DNA used To make him Waas a X-man Rolster almost. Rouge, Storm , Wolverien , And Some one Named Gambit. it had bios on each DNA doner. And A full acout of Wild Card creation. Wild card looked up at Logan .

"Uh Woverien Can I show you some thing..................I know you...... You have to look at this."

Wolverine listened to what the stranger said. At first, he was reluctant to see what the guy wanted to showhim, but, after all, he did help him with Hank. So Wolverine walked over and looked at the file that was open in the man's hands.

Peter was worried by Beast's condition. He spoke up to Logan. "I think we had better get Hank back to the mansion. I am worried that he is not getting any better. We are not that far away that it will take more than a few hours. We can use that time to check out the transmitter than you found. "

The head to Sentinel 6201 popped off and fell to the pavement. The Thing climbed out of the hole where the head used to be. "That'll teach him not to come to Manhattan lookin' for a fight!", Ben pounded his right fist into his left palm for emphasis.

Jean Grey

Jane slowly swam through her mind back to consiousness. The first thing she noticed was the familiar smell of the X-Jet. She was not sure how she had gotten there, but was glad to be out of the carnage of battle. She opened her eyes and wondered how she got there. She was about to sit up when she heard a frantic mental summons from Xavier.

She was very worried as she relayed the message to the others. "Jubilee has been attacked and is hard pressed on Highway 95. She is about 15 miles from the exit for the mansion. She needs our help right away. I suggest you put out of commision that last Sentinel, then we need to get out of here immediately. "

Tony nodded. With a jerk, he tore off the Sentinel's frozen hands. Then, he positioned himself over the incapacitated robot's eyes, where he fired his repulsors until nothing remained. Finally, he ended it by reaching inside the head and firing until the Sentinel stopped moving. After he finished, he touched down on the ground. "All right. That's one person we've already saved. Jean, you said there was someone else? Ok. Let's move out. Thing, could you grab Spider-Man? We don't want to leave him out here. Just get him into the jet. We gotta go" Tony said, even as he began walking to the jet.

Thing

The Thing yelled to Spiderman, "Com' on Webslinger, we have another party to get to." He waved his arm then set off at a fast trot towards the X-Jet. He knew Spidey could get there faster, as besides, they had to save Jubilee!

Wraith

From my rooftop vantage point I surveyed the battle. The sentinel that the heroes had battled was down, and after Iron Man was finished it was completely destroyed. Looking at the other one, my trolls were gleefully hacking what remained of it into scrap. Occasionally a hand would twitch, but it was out of commission too.
*Return.* I commanded.
The trolls looked at me, and melted away into the shadows, returning to their home on another world.

I then shifted myself back to Shadow, then once again back to the mansion. My restored wings emerging, I took back to the air. There was a sentinel attacking the woman I loved, and it had a appointment with the Master of the Night!

Iceman

Bobby ran back to the X-Jet. He would normally have used an ice slide, but he had taxed his powers quite a bit with this Sentinel attack. He wanted to make sure he had enough strength left to help take out any other Sentinels. He sat down in a seat towards the back of the plane, nodding over at Jean when he saw that she was looking better.

Jean Grey

Jean watched as Wraith vanished into thin air. She tried to follow him with her thoughts, but was only able to catch a fleeting idea of him saving Jubilee alone. Jean looked over at the others as they started to get back on the X-Jet. Then she received a mental summons from Xavier. She argued with him for a fraction of a second before pathing the others.

"Professor Xavier has detected a Sentinel attack on the Guthrie family. Sam and Paige were home visiting, so were able to contact the Professor with their radios. But they are in desperate straits. I know that Jubilee is in the same predicament , but the Professor feels the needs of rescuing a family outweighs rescuing one mutant. The professor was able to ascertain that Wraith is on his way to Jubilee . I tried to reach Wraith, but my powers were too strained for me to concentrate that much.

I have the coordinates for the Guthries. I am imputing them in the computer and then we will be on our way. Hopefully Spiderman will be recovered enough to possibly help us out , since we have now lost Wraiths powers. Lets get out of here. Mr Grimm, please get this bird off the ground. "

Upon hearing the order to leave, Temera climbed back into the jet and sat down, strapping herself in. She slipped into deep thought as she tried to recall who the Guthries were from her reading of this period of history but couldnt come up with anything, those must be some of the destoryed records. She once again focused on those around her as she waited for the plane to take off to thier next location.

Wolverine sat back in his chair, occasionally looking back at Beast. He was going over in his mind the information the newcomer, whom he found out is named Wild Card, had shown him. As he was thinking about this and what it possibly meant, he got the notice from Peter that they were beginning their descent towards the mansion.

When they landed, Wolverine made sure that Hank was receiving the help he needed before going to report his findings to the Professor. "Wild Card, I would like you to come with me to see Professor X. He might be interested in meeting you."

Beast Slowly started to come through laing in a sick bed back at the mansion His furr was still an ash gray. his eyes were darker and sharper looking. he had been restles the entire time he was out. he was greated By Wild card and wolverien. Beast was A Littel crouchy .

"What happend!? Why are we back!?"

Wolverien answerd him And Asked hiim if he could get Working on The Traking box of the scintnels.

BEats Got wroking Wile he was working on it wolverien and WIld Card Seamed to be in meatings with the proff Soon the beast was finished And had Found a location. He brought the results to the professer and wolverien. Wildcard seamed to vanish.

Wild Card Agreed To Go in With Wolverin to see the prof. Professer -X ask Wild card His Name And who he was although he all ready new from Scaning him.

" Well I dont have A name And now i Know Why..."he handed the prof the file on him An the X-Man File he had found all so. "The Wepond _ programe re fers to me As Wild Card. It turns out im Genetiicly engeneird from DNA Barrod From Wolverien Storm Rouge And A Mutent Named Gambit"

The prof Noded his Head As He read the file he than got an up date from the other team And in form Wolverien and WildCard Of the situiations The Prof then Read the postit that was on the file on the X-men It said Rouge had been Captured.

'Ill Go Help Wraith get Jublee Casse its more than one Sentnel. Than ill get them To help got Find And Help Rouge." WIth that Wild card Left With out a word.

Ben rushed into the X-Plane. He made sure that everyone was a least seated, then lifted off the Jet and headed for the coordinates that indicated when the Guthries were. He kept checking the radar for Sentinels as the X-Plane ate up the miles.

Gambit

::Something by him moving made his jump from the bed he was in and take the person by the throat with his forarm. As his vision cleared he realised that he had a woman in his grasp and that she was fearing for her life.

He quickly let her go and offered an apology before asking her where he was and what had happened.::

I found you unconcious in an alley when I was going ho,me from a parade and I brought you here to my hotel room. No place for anyone to be passed out...

::He offered her a smile::

My thanks, Cherie. But dont you know that tis nae a good idea to be taking home strays? Reguardless you are naesafe around me...mutants nae safe anywhere anymore.

::He quickly gathered his things, winked at the girl, then left headinmg back outside and into the streets before one of those things found him in the hotel.::

Xavier

Professor Xavier shook his head as he watched Wild Card leave the room. He could heardly believe Weapon X had been able to get all of that DNA to create Wild Card from it. It seems that the government, or at least part of it; had interest in mutants way before Charles was aware of it. There was nothing Charles could do about it at this point, so he pushed it from his mind. However , he shared a small smile with Wolverine; both of them aware of how unhappy Kyle would be to have Wild Card tag along.

Charles looked over the data that Beast had been able to extract from the tracking device. Just outside of New Orleans was it.....hmmm.....maybe he could add a little cajun spice to this mission. I am sure Gambit would be willing to help, since this mission was getting more dangerous by the minute. Also, he would be sure to want to help find Rogue.

Professor spoke to Logan. "Ok Wolverine, I want you to get the others back in the X-Jet and get down to New Orleans. I will use Cerebro to send a mental message to Gambit to meet you at the Avenue de Muertes in New Orleans. He may also have some information about where the Sentinels are based. You have the coordinates, but there may be more to it. Get going. "

Xavier waited for Wolverine to leave the room before his features changed to concern. The file had said that they had Rogue, which was not good for anyone. Rogue knew a lot of information about her fellow mutants that the Sentinels may be able to dig out of her. Xavier listened for the sound of the X-Jet as it took off for New Orleans. He momentarily lowered the phase field to let them pass and also sent his message to Gambit. Hopefully Gambit would be able to help the team now that they were missing the Beast.

The Guthries

Sam watched as Paige brought the rest of the family to the abandoned mine shaft. Sam had once worked there, so he knew the layout. It had been Paige that had come up with the idea to bring the family down there. Sam had been too concerned with how to battle these Sentinels, to think ahead like that . It was good that his little sister could keep a cool head.

The three Sentinels had come out of nowhere. The family had just settled down to eat dinner, when he heard the high pitched whir of jet engines. He had thought that maybe one of the X-men had come to pay them a visit. He was sadly dissabused of that notion when he spied the three metallic shapes coming towards them. His X-men training stood him in good steed as he was able to recognize them from a ways off. He yelled into Paige, "CODE RED" and Paige ran to his side.

He pointed out the Sentinels and told her to get the family to safety. He would go out and let the Sentinels play catch with him to give her time to get the family to shelter. He just hoped that the Sentinels did not actually catch him. He had fought Sentinels before and knew how tough they were. He did not hold out much hope that Paige and himself would be able to defeat one, never mind three. He wondered if Paige had found the time to radio the X-Men before she vanished in the mine shaft.

Pushing his propulsion through his lower body, Sam took off from the ground in a puff of smoke. He flew right at the lead Sentinel , veering out of the way just before collision. He knew that he would probably have suvived a direct hit, but he needed to buy his family time to get further down in the mine. Hopefully if they were able to get down far enough, the Sentinels would not be able to detect them.

Sam continued on his trajectory, noticing the three Sentinels had turned to give chase. Sam knew that he could have outrun them , but wanted to pull them away from his family. He could feel a slight impact as the closest Sentinel sent a laser towards him. His invulnerability kept him in good stead , as he was not effected by it at all. He knew it was a hopeless situation, but he had to buy time for his family. Sam turned back towards the house when he noticed a dark shape flying towards the house.

Gambit

::He was well on his way into the swamps now, having been able to escape detection from any other sentinels. He used the large pole to steer the small canoe through the swamps heading to his home, his mind suddenly became numb and an old voice streamed into his mind.

Count me in, I'll do what I can while I'm waiting on them.

So the X-men were coming down to find out where in The Big Easy these sentinels were coming from. he would have to meet them in three hours. Just enough time to catch some rest and figure out where the best place in the city and surrounding swampland the governemt or one of it's agencies could build a place to manufacture and control them.::

Beast Stood infearated As he watched the X-Jet take off. Petter and wolverien both in formed him he was to stay be hind. Be Stormed in to the professers office

"Why the Hell Am i grounded . Should not be left Be hind I should be with them Stoping The monsters. Protecting our Kind.."he roard At him yelling As he slamed his fist through the Desk. the professer worked to calm Hank down And as ked him to Conten you tech help on the black box to try and gather all the info he could.

"Fine but im tierd of you monipulating me and holdin me back"
Beast walked out of the office Back to his lab.

Xavier

Xavier was suprised as Beast slammed the door leaving his office. He knew that Hank was normally very self analytical and would realize that whatever had brought on these blackout attacks could seriously jeopardize the mission. Xavier felt safer with Hank here, that way he was out of harms way. Plus it would only be a matter of time before the phasing field would have used up the all the reserve power from the mansions generators. Pushing the incident out of his mind , Xavier went back to searching for mutants in trouble.

Wraith

Leaving the gates of the mansion, I quickly made my way up until I was just below the clouds. I flew quickly , following the road and looking for the tell-tale silhouette of a Sentinel, or Jube's fireworks. Both should be easy to spot from this height.
There! Over to the right I spied a bright flash of light, and then saw a large bipedal form stumble back as Jube leapt from the car, firing off a powerful burst of fireworks into the optics of the sentinel. I closed my wings and dived from over a thousand feet overhead.

When I closed with the Sentinel, I concentrated and dropped a darkness field over it, encompassing everything within five hundred feet in a field of impenetrable darkness. I extended my wings with a crack of displaced air and swooped by the sentinel, and grasped Jube in my arms, taking her into the sky and past the wildly firing sentinel. I made my way into the clouds, and within the shifting shadows of them, shifted bot myself and Jubilee from Earth to Shadow, landing on the topmost parapet of my Castle. My wings folded back into my armor, and I looked down into the face of the woman I still loved.
"Are you hurt?" I asked her.

WIldCard

Wild card had grab A motercycle from the mansion Garauge And raced off When he arrived to where Jubillee was his bicke was shot from under him by a wild shot that the sentaniel had been fireing from the darkness.

wild card jumed up and race to the ruble that was once jubillee's car. there was no sign of jubb's or wraith the darcnees left by wraith disapated and the sentnale soo locked on to wild card

"Ah fuck." he fired Five of his special admantiem jokers at the robotonly witing the ro bot in the cheast sensor.
