Magma

Magma activated her mutant power. Her body took on the characteristic red-orange color of lava as she started to assert her control over the earth. Heating up the earth around the edges of the tunnel, Magma heated some of the metal into a liquid state. Pulling back the heat in to herself, Magma watched as the liquid metal covered over the sensors before hardening again. " Ok boss, it looks like we are ready to go down."

Colonel Stryker

Colonel Stryker's helicopter landed on the base. Pushing open the reinforced door on the combat copter, Stryker returned the salute of the men waiting outside for him. " Sir......" one of them started before Stryker motioned him into silence. "We will talk of this inside. " They all obeyed his command as they followed him into the base.

Stryker put down his coffee, savoring the rich blend before turning to business. " Ok, what information do you all have? Davis, you are on first. " Davis stood up, going to the front of the ready room. " Sir, we have finally acertained the exact coordinates of Magneto's base on Asteroid M. We are unfortunately not able to reach if with our land based or sub based missiles. However, I have received word from our Sentinel Factory that the units prepped for space will be ready in a few days. "

"Very well Davis, keep me informed on this. As soon as the Sentinels are ready, call me for a Green Go so that we can exterminate that mutant immediately. Stevens, you are up now. "

Stevens went to the data station at the back of the room, fiddling with dials. A display of information came up on the screen in the front. " Sir, these show our kill ratios so far. We are right around 85 percent, with only a few mutants escaping unharmed. We have also been highly successful in eliminating Superhumans as per your instructions. It has been a godsend for us that the Avengers were not around at this time, so that we will not have to deal with them now. "

Stryker stared at the data for a moment. " ONLY 85 percent mister? I thought these were state of the art Sentinels. I want 100 percent immediately, do I make myself clear? And we have had three Sentinels destroyed? That is completely unexceptable. Do not worry yourselves over the Avengers. By the time they come back to the planet, they may be the only superbeings left. An easy target for the Sentinels to eliminate. "

"I have a score to settle with Captain America anyway, so they will die hard. Once all these threats are eliminated, then Plan Alpha Tango can be put into place. What country would you like Davis? " Harsh laughter swept the room as the power hungry men in there dreamed of a more powerful future.

Stryker addressed the men again. "Johnson, your turn. I want to find out if you have been successful in finding the X-Men base. " Johnson stood up, his shoulders slumped in defeat. "I regret to inform you sir that we have not as of yet ascertained their location. I am confident........" The last word was puntuated by the sound of gunfire, as a 44 caliber bullet creased Johnsons skull. His bleeding corpse was scarcely on the ground before Stryker jumped to his feet. " Look all of you at the price of incompetence. Let this be a constant reminder of the perils of failure. "

Stryker noticed one of the men off to the side signaling him. Stryker spoke to the group. "Ok men, I want you all to go back to work. If you have any significant updates, contact me immediately. Dismissed." Stryker watched as the room cleared except for Agent Wise had stayed behind. " What is it Wise? "

"Sir, I have found the location of the X-Men. We had two of the Sentinels capture some mutants instead of killing them. Intense interrogation of these captives, one of which is Rogue; has given us the information that we need. Stryker looked at him in suprise."You were able to break Rogue? That is truly impressive. Give me the coordinates. I want to check it out myself first before sending in the Sentinels. "

Thing

The Thing reached in through the widened crack in the Sentinel's exoskeleton and started ripping out handfulls of circuitry and components. He climbs in and hammers away with both fists, aiming up to disable the brain of this metal monster. He is enjoying himself way too much.

Sentiinel 6201, managed to break loose of the building just before the Thing killed it forever. Sentinel 6201, with the Thing inside it, falls to the ground.

Jean Grey

Marvel Girl watches as the Thing tries to turn the sentinel into scrap metal. She notices that the Sentinel has come loose from the building and is falling towards the ground. She notices that some people were too stupid to leave the site of the battle and were standing and watching. Their screams as the Sentinel fell towards them galvanized her. She reached out to the Sentinel with her telekinetic power. She strained to slow down its fall, allowing the terrified humans to get out from under its body. She gently lowered the metal behemoth to the ground, just as her world began to spin. Losing conciousness, Jean fell to the ground.

When the stairway had cooled back down to sufficient levels, Wolverine led his team down the stairwell. At the bottom was a door, which they walked through. The halway they entered looked a lot newer than the structures above ground. The team could tell at a glance that the walls were reinforced and that everything was maintained very well. The hum of a large generator could be heard in the background. They walked through the corridor slowly and silently, listening for the slightest indication of anyone approaching them.

At the end of the corridor, they came to a sliding metal doorway. When they stood in front of it, the door automatically slid open. "I don't like the feel of this," Wolverine said. He stepped into the room and the team followed him. What they saw made them stop in awe. The had entered a room about 50 feet high and very large. On one side of the room were Sentinels, in various stages of construction. There were many machines, working in an assembly line to construct these robots. As they walked farther into the factory room, the door shut behind them, and the one of the Sentinels seeme to come alive, it's eyes glowing.

Sentinel

Sentinel 2662 was awakened by the buzzing of the sensors. It was the only completed Sentinel that had been left at the base when the others had been sent out on missions. The Sentinel was just powering up when he saw some intruders enter the room. His computer did not have time to identify the intruders, but suggested a blast of fire from one of the flame throwers. The Sentinel sent a long blast of flame towards the doorway.

All the Alarms in the Base were sounding now . As he Was bout to leave Strykers ofice He Saw A larg File marked X-men And A postie on top of it he quicly out of instinct grabed it and took it with him he ran Out of the office every one Seamed to be Scrambleing. he Was trying to re main un seen. again didnt Work .

" Hay you hold it there!!!!" one of the Wild Card Shook his head .

" Dont tank so" Wild Card Said As the Gaurd fired and He Ducked into A shop Door. he closed the Door As the bulit hit it his Back to the door he looed Aheed to See All the Sentenels in verius stages of production . And Cousiusly Walking towords him Was Wolverien and the others Of His team Wild Card Reconized them He Than noticed the one Sentinal come alive..

"Dis Aint GooD" Wild Card Calld to The X-Men Team. "Here Som one take dis' File And head back To where hever yall Came From Dere bouts to be some mager russlin' " he tossed the File to magick As He Stood up From the Door.

Colossus

Colossus pushed Wolverine out of the way of the blast of fire. Since he was already in armored form, the heat did not really bother him. It did make his custome go up in smoke which was not a good thing. Colossus yelled to the others " Stand back, I will see if I can knock this thing back......." just as he noticed someone coming out of an office carrying files. Peter moved as fast as he could and came up to the foot of the Sentinel. Reaching down, he grabbed its foot, lifting it up and knocking it off balance. The Sentinel hit the wall behind it , breaking the wall and falling into the hanger behind it.

Wolverine watched as Colossus lifted the Sentinel off balance and caused it to fall back into the wall. "Peter, toss me," he said. Colossus lifted Wolverine and tossed him onto the Sentinel. Wolverine unsheathed his claws and said, "You can't hit what you can't see." He then stabbed his claws into the optical orbs of the Sentinel. There were some parks and the sound of electricity crackling. Wolverine then jumped off the Sentinel's head as it began trying to lift itself to its' feet.

Wild Card

As Wolverien lounched him self in to the air with peters help he noticed after wolvie took out the eyes there were a third sensor orb on the chest of the robot Wild Card tossed Three Jokers At it as the robot rased its self up

 

[Angelus]

As Spider-Man began to slowly get to his feet he noticed all the sounds around him. It was the sounds of battle- the sounds of several powers being used at the same time and he wondered just what the hell was going on. He shook his head- clearing it and looked up to see the metal person being attacked from several different directions by every super hero in the New York area.

There were several X-Men, Iron Man and even Thing fighting this thing and he wondered what the hell was going on. He raised one hand and fired off a web shot which connected to a building then swung into the air. He had to get a shot at this thing that had almost killed him.

Colossus

After the fastball special, Colossus heard a noise behind him. He turned in time to see Magik drawing her soulsword. The naked blade shone with cold fire as it was pulled from the scabbard. Peter grabbed her around the waist and pulled her back. "No Illyana, this is too dangerous. Let us handle this."

Peter picked her up and moved her further down the corridor. He turned back towards the room to reenter the battle. He could hear Illyana yelling at him from behind. "Peter, I am no longer a child. You can not protect me forever. Here, you hold this dumb file and I will go in and fight. " Peter turned back towards her "No, you are wrong. I am your big brother, I will always protect you. "

Magma

Magma entered the room after Peter pulled Illyana down the hall. She immediatly surrounded her body with her highest lava setting. Reaching deep into the earth, she used its great power to create a pool of searing lava to come into being under the Sentinel. The metal floor gave way under the constant pressure of the heat. The Sentinel fell into the floor up to the shoulders. Its arms were pinned at its sides in the ground.

Gambit

::He walked down the street, heading to the outskirts of town. He figured if the think could find him in the city, perhaps if he his in the swamps he would be able to hide better. Having grown up in the swamps surrounding New Orleans, he would be at home and hopefully have an advantage.

Unfortunatly a bolt of purple passing in front of his and crashing into the ground creating a small crater told him that he wasn't making it that far.

Quickly, he spun around and looked up at the towering Robot. Reaching into a pocket of his trenchcoat, he produced a deck of cards.::

Up for a little game of cards? How 'bout fifty two card pickup...

::He quickly charged the whole deck of cards and started launching the explosives at the Robot. All fifty two cards landed on the robot and after the smoke had cleared, the sentinal brarely had a scratch on it.

Reaching into his pocket once more he grabbed his staff, clicking the button making it extend from a foot in length to five foot in length. Using the staff, He pole vaulted up on the back of the sentenal.::

Let's see you hunt wha' you can't see...

::He drew the staff back and jammed it into the first optical sensor of the robot. Having broken through it, he reached in and grabbed what he could charging it all.

The Sentinel managed to grab Gambit in its fist, and it started to squeeze him, but before it could do any real harm, the head of the robot exploded and left nothing but a few wires hanging from where it once rested.

Out of commision, the robot's body started to fall backwards, its hand releasing its death grip on Gambit allowing him to fall to the ground. So weak he could barely get to his feet, he merely rolledover and lifted himself up with one hand a look of respect but triumph on his face::

Sentinel

Sentinel 1207 was scanning the highway from 2000 feet. He finally was rewarded with a mutant signal poping up on his radar. Sparking its boot jets to a higher speed, the Sentinel flew down towards the car. His sensors were having a hard time locking in on the mutant signal, so it sent a laser beam to slice the vehicle in half. The Sentinel landed a few yards away as it watched the one of the occupants roll out of the broken vehicle and land on the median. The sensors finally identified the mutant as Jubilee.

Beast

As the other Took care of the live robot He got cracking on the nerest computer turminal see ing what he could D when they Finly go the robote taken care of


" uh Wolverien, peter , magma And our new comer We might want to get out of here our selfs this room is about.. to. Blow" in the puses he hit the finel buttens to stat a self distruct sequence.

"Good!" screamed Tony as his boosters propelled him forward. He hit full speed, and begged for the engine to crank out just a little bit more juice. Fortunately, it did. Just in time, too. He hit the Sentinel right at the point where the ice turned to metal. He pushed the boosters even harder, and after a moment, the leg shattered, sending him spiralling into the next one, which, too, after a moment, shattered. "Iceman! Get its hands!" he roared.

Iceman

Bobby was able to bearly hear what Iron man had yelled. It concerned him that Jean was down, since her mental telepathy had made it easier to coordinate the attack. But he understood enough of the roar that came over the speakers to figure out what Iron Man had in mind.

"Well, Mr Sentinel, next time make sure to put on your mittens like your mother told you too." Bobby froze the air around the Sentinels arms, pinning the hands together. With a harder blast of arctic air, he created a pair of ice handcuffs to hold the Sentinels hands together. "Iron Man, I am not sure how long those will hold," Bobby shouted through the ice megaphone he created with his hands .

Watching from the vantage point of the roof top, she saw the woman... Jean was her name... fall down unconsious and before having time to think, she examined the area intensely before teleporting down to the ground beside her. Temera knelt down and gathered Jean in to a hug before closing her eyes and imagining the interior of the plane. The next moment, they were both in the plane. Temera gently layed Jean down before exiting the plane once again. She returned to the edge of the roof and as if a bystander at an auto accident, she couldnt help watching and wincing as she saw the others hard at work taking down the modification leader.. no, she reminded herself, they are called sentinels at this time.

Wolverine heard what Beast said and was about to begin getting the team out when he had an idea. He ran over behind the Sentinel and plunged his claws deep into its back. He tore away at the metal skin of the robot, opening up a big hole. Inside, there was a metal box with a blinking red light. "Hank, if they are able to keep track of the Sentinels with a tracking device, shouldn't you be able to figure out where the signal is coming from?" He reached in and ripped out the box from inside the Sentinel.

Colossus

Peter watched what Wolverine was doing for a moment before grabbing Magma in his left arm. "Da, that is a good idea Logan. I am sure that Hank can figure out what to do with that. Come on Amara, lets get back to Illyana and get out of this steel deathtrap." Peter pulled the slightly protesting Magma down the corridor where Illyana was standing and sulking. "Illyana, once the others are here, we need to teleport back to the ship , do you understand? "

Illyana was suprised to see how fast her brother came around the corner. She could not read the concern on his organic steel face, but could hear it in his voice. "Why are we in such a hurry? We just got here. Besides, I want to let my blade taste some Sentinel steel. " After hearing of the self destruct that had been set off, Illyana changed her mind. "Ok folks, its time for Limbo airlines to take off, lets get out of here. " While waiting for the others to get there, Illyana started to concentrate on the dimensional rift that would take them to the X-Jet.

Hank litsond to logan and peter speak And whatched petter grabb magma And run through the door. " yes Logan I Can do that but we should get out of her posthast. " Than Sudenly beast Colapsed again Sreaming in Pain.

"Arrrrrrrrrrrgggggggggggggggggggggggg!!!!!" Suden ly the beast's furr turnd A Dark lmost ash gray. and hank went unconsuse. In The middel of the Floor.

Wolverine was behind Beast when he suddenly collapsed. "Hank, are you okay?" He bent down and touched Beast. When he didn't respond, he leaned down to lit up Beast while calling out to Colossus. "Peter, get back here!!! Hank has collapsed!!!"

Wild Card Whatched As the Beast Colapsed and logan started to lift him up And called for the big metal man. Wild card rushed to him he loked at Wolverien as he helped pick beast up

" No worries Il Help you da big guy should stay where he is Beast here said we needs to hurry"
