Ok, I almost never post here, but I thought I'd stop lurking for a bit. I generally only do that with exceptionally beautiful women.

But that's not why I decided to pop out (although your beauty speaks for itself). Instead, I was amazed by your request to have people ask you your opinions on things. I love people who actually like to discuss things. Sadly this seems to be becoming all to rare in the world today.

Yes... this is slowly becoming a rarity in this devolving word. Though... really it all depends on who you run into.

Unfortunately, I'm not really good at coming up with topics, but given your username, I think it would be a good start to ask your views on religion, its functionality, and your personal beliefs. I have the feeling this could spark an interesting discussion.

Religion in the organized version annoys the hell out of me. While it may be beautiful... I was raised Jewish. I was even Bat Mitzvahed... I still claim the Jewish title. But purely in a social aspect is my Judism in practice anymore really. Truly... I cannot stand organized religion.

Call it a personal objection... but I still stand by it. Something about being dicatated as to how to ask for help... something about being told as to what to think... it just bothers me and doesnt ring true to me.

I firmly believe there is something else out there. But I refuse to give it a gender. I refuse to give it a face. Because for all I know is it could just simply be a universal consciousness.

I firmly believe in the termed "super natural". Somethings that happen can just not be explained. They just must be believed.

But that all said. I do believe that religion serves a purpose. It offers an answer to many of those that are searching for meaning. It offers exactly what I find so objectional about it. It offers order. It offers a regimen to follow. It offers something beautiful... something mystical... it offers something to cling to... something to believe in... it offers something very concrete.

All I really know is I hold my own beliefs... that are a mish mashed conglomeration of everything that I have experienced and learned in my life. And it is beautiful and dangerous in its own way.

so on the subject of photography, what do you prefer? black and white? sepia? normal plain old true colour?

I love black and white shots. Something about it is usually much more dramatic and shocking. I really like the cinematography (sp?) in Sin City. The whole black and white with occasional deliberate splashes of color. It is what I picture as the epitome of what color should be.

Sepia is also fun to photograph in. Hmm...

your thoguhts about religon are very similar to mine.. Except I was raised christian... I never saw the point to it all, repeating the same week wfter week... I read it, I get it, geez, cant we all move on.

So I gave up on religon, jsut to be a good person for myself...

Absolutely stunning. I must also say I love your tattoo. Anything astronomically related gets me going given that I'm an astronomy major. One of the coolest tattoos I've ever seen was one of the phases of the moon going through the full cycle going around a girls collar this summer. Eventually, I'd like to get one that goes all the way around my arm with detailing of all the important craters.

It's also good to hear that I'm not the only one that detests organized religion. I'm going to school in Kansas so I'm in the state of the real nutjobs like Fred Phelps, and of course, KS is the first state to push the intelligent design crap into classrooms.

Personally, I don't feel any need for a higher power of any sort as there's just no evidence, but at the same time, there's no real evidence against it, so as long as you're not forcing other people to believe what you do and killing people, then I'm all for it.
