Unwanted censorship in Story

I'm thinking that since you can't use a phone number in a story, you might not want to use one on the forum either.

speaking of that,

IN the prefix which we are talking about, only 0100 through 0199 are now specifically reserved for fictional use; the other numbers have been reserved for actual assignment.

No matter what numbers are allowed where, here the rules are set by Lit.

I wasn't arguing that point. I was pointing out that the information given that all of the prefix in question aren't allowed in fiction, only a certain set of them. The first part was an apology for breaking the rule the second was pointing out the limited numbers allowed in fiction in general.

This and credit card numbers are the first things you would set up with an automatic censor. Though I have seen a whitelist setting for 555 numbers.
