After Iran the only other country that has demonstrated the complete lack of need of obtaining nukes is North Korea.
My personal feeling is Pakistan is questionable too.
The remaining countries do not attempt to hold other countries or regions hostage with Nuclear weapons.
And to note as your comments imply, the US did not initiate the aggression against Iran. Nor have they used or threatened to use nuclear weapons. The only other countries aside from Iran and North Korea to make such a threat has USSR Russia and Pakistan.

While three is truth to that ^ statement, there is also truth to the contention that Iran was going for a nuke prior to a direct attack from the U.S.

You can call it prescient & justified on the Iranian regime’s part to go for a nuke, but look at / judge the results for yourself.

The truth of the matter is that Arab / Muslim actors have shown themselves to be capable of incredibly reckless and barbaric acts (9/11, videotaping beheadings of captives, 10/7, stabbings, crowd rammings with vehicles, terror attacks on planes, trains, buses, Synagogues, etc), and America (and some other western nations) are rightfully opposed to people with that capacity for reckless savagery possessing a nuke - to the point that preemptive measures to deny Arabs / Muslims nukes are generally approved of by a large portion of the populace and the major political parties.
