Us and Israel attack Iranian regime

Aside from a rise in oil prices, the U.S. is the country least affected by the close of the Strait of Hormuz - it accounts for about 2% of total U.S. petroleum consumption and 7% of U.S. crude imports. Many other countries are entirely dependent on the Strait being open - China and Japan get over 90% of their oil from there. Th3ey have a fuckuva lot more at stake than we do.

Yeah, we could legitimately use some help clearing mines, but we'll get by just fine. Trump thinks the nations with the most to lose should be pitching in, but as usual, they count on the Americans to do what's necessary.
Except for the prices of plastic, gas, and drugs.....you're so correct. 👍

Look, have they given any indication of what comes next? A military action is conceivable that would force open the Strait of Hormuz and keep naval control of it without landing ground troops.

But would that be enough for Trump?

Ahhh... the stupidest fuck in the forum keeps babbling...

If the market price of oil goes up then not only will gas prices in the US go up but so will products that are made from oil and oil by-products (plastics, synthetics, fertilisers etc). The US is the worlds largest importer of goods, so if the cost of production increases in other countries that will be reflected in the price of goods the US imports.

The US is exposed just as much as other countries.

Not sure it is feasible to force open the Strait and secure it through naval assets alone. Ships will still be vulnerable to missile and drone strikes in the narrow waters and it only takes one hit on one tanker for everyone else to decide it isn’t worth it.

Naval ships can provide escort cover, but that will restrict the volume of ships to around 10% of normal flow and again it only takes one strike to scare everyone off.

To keep the Strait open the US will either have to defeat Iran militarily and secure the country or come to a negotiated settlement with the Iranians that removes the threat to shipping.

And yet you whine about how stupid, chicken, cowards, retards we all are. Quite a lot to whine about when you don't care. :ROFLMAO:

Not caring about what you think is A LOT DIFFERENT than caring about our troops who are in the M.E. saving your stupid limey asses again.

Tell us who you are again? A terrorist sympathizer perhaps?

You think anyone in Trump’s orbit has thought about any of this?

The Saudi's purchasing billions on fighter aircraft does leave one curious. I am assuming a ~year was not time enough for Lockheed or Gruman to produce the stealthy tools. Against drones it looks like they need helicopters and small defensive drones.
It’s fascinating to me how no one accepts that this is also a proxy war for Saudi, who has wanted the Iranian regime gone for decades. Saudi is definitely promising financial shit to Trump and Kushner for this.

Do tell. What do you think?

This is no more than the iRidiots got too close to having a nuke and a distribution method. And that the idiots kept Iran in the dark ages while threatening intelligent commerce and peace.
It won't last much longer. And apparently no one will care but a few like you, here.
