Rugby's a lovely game, isn't it? So full of gentle, kind, compassionate people . . . lol

The props on our team definitely never encountered that problem!

No, we rarely practiced with the guys because they played a different season than us. We were usually spring, and they were fall. Some of them did come and practice with us in the off season though, and some of us occasionally went to an informal practice of theirs.

It definitely would have been fun, though. Although now that I recall most of the guys were well over twice my size . . .

Maybe I'll just skip the game and come to the after-game shower party

Carillon, you really missed out if you didn't play mixed rugby. It was almost as dangerous as mixed field hockey (a marauding gang of women armed with sticks just waiting to bash out the brains of the nearest horny teen.)

I may have missed out on the mixed rugby, but I played field hockey for twelve years or so and we were mixed for at least four of those. Dangerous game, that. Much, much more so than rugby in my opinion.

Still, I'm rather fond of it. I coach a team every year now, which is almost (but not quite) as much fun as playing.

Did you do a Google? Lots of sites pop up. Not able to give a personal recommendation though. Hopefully someone here can.
