Venezuela

You know those are all lies. Not even you believe them.
I know you're ignorant. You have no idea of the level of awareness our intelligence-gathering abilities are capable of. Remember as well, there is a 50 million Dollar bounty on Maduro's head. The line of people trying to get in on that must keep him up at night. I know you aren't paying attention, but there are Rivet Joint aircraft flying off the coast of Venezuela that can literally vacuum up, identify, translate, geo-locate, and track every digital electronic, cell phone, and radio transmission within its publicly admitted range of 150 miles, with persistent overhead satellite surveillance covering a much larger area. We can bet the CIA has a small army of informants on its voluminous payroll as well.

The problem not that the Admin is not knowledgeable. The problem is that is is not honest, not even by USG standards. If we go to war with Venezuela, nobody who really cares about the drug trade will be involved in that decision -- or has yet been involved in any of the steps leading up to it.

The CIA was never in its history an agency you could rely on to fight drug trafficking. But you could always rely on it to fight Commies.

Wasn't there one on Castro's head? He was no narcotraficante. He was a Commie. And that's what this is all about -- not cocaine.
You forget, Maduro is a U.S. federal fugitive. The reward is the result of a federal grand jury indictment. He is the true fascist. He got 20% of the vote but decided to steal the election instead.

Drug runner and under.indictment?

That's a sure pardon from dear leader

He's an authoritarian. Nobody that far to the left can ever be a fascist. (No, Stalin and Mao and Castro were never fascists.)

Venezuela is a busted country. what happens when you go socialist
That's no reason for war, is it?

There never was any good reason for the Cold War! The world would be better off the the Truman Admin had simply ignored the Commie threat!

You have your political spectrum backwards...Far right extreme Anarchy, no government. Far left extreme, Totalitarianism/ Communism or total government. Get it straight next time. You're welcome.

 No, you idiot, the political spectrum doesn't look like that, it looks like this:

At its most basic, the political spectrum consists of a continuum from left to right, with varying shades of opinion in between. Usually, there are five political positions described in the one dimensional model: far-left, left-wing, centre, right-wing, and far-right, with the occasional inclusion of "centre-left" and "centre-right" groups.

A common way of characterizing the left-right spectrum is that the left tends to support equality while the right tends to support hierarchy, be it politically, socially or economically. Another common association is that the left tends to progress beyond the current status quo, while the right tends to preserve it. Historically, the origins of these associations came from the French Revolution, where those in the National Assembly who upheld the revolutionary and egalitarian ideals sat on the left and those who supported the monarchy and the nobility sat on the right.[1]

One way to place the ideologies in the political spectrum are as follows:

AnarchismCommunismSocialismSocial LiberalismCentrismClassical LiberalismConservatismMonarchismFascism

Typically, leftist ideologies will be more critical of unregulated capitalism and its perceived issues regarding inequality and exploitation, seeking to heavily regulate it or abolish it altogether. Culturally, they tend to support various civil rights movements and measures to end social inequality and discrimination.[2] The right, meanwhile, tends to view capitalism and traditional cultural roles and notions more positively, believing them to be natural, inevitable, or even beneficial.[3]

And how many people must daily analyze this data? 100,000?

The CIA has been deeply embedded in Central and South America since the 1960's

And they have done nothing there but make Communism look good. There's a reason why everybody hates the Yanquis.
