Jericho was once a struggling pianist and songwriter in 1880's New York. One cold autumn night he was invited along with other bright and up and coming talent in the music scene of gilded age new york. He was invited by Moira socialite, and heiress, and longtime crush. But Jericho was mortified that Moira and her guests were not there to listen and commend the new talents, but were there to belittle, to criticize, and to make fun of them. When it was his turn he played the song he had written to express his love for Moira. The people had laughed, but worst of all was the laughter and condemnation from Moira.
He ran out of her mansion and rushed his was way heart-broken and angry home. On the way he bumped into three people. He was probably shorter than he should have been to them, telling them to "Get out of his way." But he was angry and hurt and heart-broken and he didn't care, Jericho didn't even look at them as he rushed past them.
One of them came after him. He turned and got his first real glimpse of (Luna's Character) She saw through him, all the way to his soul, all the hurt, the pain, the dissapointment with his life, and took it all away. The man that Jericho was died in a dingy little alley in Manhattan's East side that night. And Jericho was born. The fourth and youngest of vampires in their group. The hothead. The one who enjoyed the mindless violence of a fight.
Lucian is possibly the oldest living vampire in the world turned during the polyponesian wars in Crete. Lucian has spent the ages since treading the world over feeding off the human sheep that infests it before settling down and creating a coven of his own in the new world away from the human pestilence he and his children feed only when they need to. Using the seclusion to practice the dark magics he had learned in the endless parade of centuries since his turning.
It may be kind of weak for an idea but "Darla's" Sire could have her poisoned to make "Angel" and the others bring her back to him for healing... Kind of a slap in the face to her young lover that he has to take her to her sire and original lover to heal her when he can't. Jealousy conflict with her sire being jealous and a little hurt that she took a younger lover but at the same time they both offer her something very different... One is so hooked he will follow her anywhere killing at whim with her just for fun and the other the security of wealth and power.
Maybe our "crazy little Dru" can overhear Her "greatgrandsire" telling one of his servants about having her poisoned and keeping her weak or ill to keep her there. "Dru translating it to the others in some cryptic little song or whatever *lol* As for the Hunter The sire could control him having him be the one that poisoned her during one of his attacks and so its not suspect him having done several little attacks on them over several days weeks etc.
She was dying when he found her. Cast aside by the people who came to see her to hear her sing and dance. The golden haired beauty who they were more than willing to give their money to and in her own manipulative way take control over to see changes made for women but "thought of" by men. She had built up her own fortune and lavish home in the country side from me who used people and yet seemed so willing for her to use them as well. Her own cold and evil way of seeing justice served and people... "helped". When he turned her she did not fight what she had become in fact the further power he offered her enticed her more to his side. As any young though she sought travel and adventure till she found one she wanted and turned him as well beginning a much larger scale of slaughter and death. Killing guilty and "innocent" alike knowing now in her own twisted reality there were no true innocents in the world of humans.
She was divived between her childer/lover and her sire/lover which caused her trouble within her mind bringing her temper out and with that more death and destruction. She always found power wherever they went and that was a constant hunger as well... Manipulate the powers that be into sniveling husks and then... kill them.
An honorably discharged Green Beret with a lot of time on his hands. Alexander became aware of a rash of murders with inexplicable double neck wounds. He tracked them from town to town before encountering the four...people...responsible...if one could call them people. Vampires were real, and they were just as deadly and as evil as the movies made them out to be if not more.
It was then that a man shrouded in a black cloak from head to toe began, Whom he called Shadow, appeared to him helping him track and attempt to kill the murdering monsters.
However they had became aware of him too. They went to his home and found his wife and children. Alexander rushed home to find his worst possible nightmare. His wife dead and his little girl turned into a monster...like them...Forcing him to kill her himself.
Now he spent all his days with Shadow's help training, excercising, tracking them, seeking his vengeance upon them.
In life he'd been rather unspectacular, given to fights and too much alcohol. Constantly pushed by his parents to do something more with his short time on this world. He'd not cared for church, preferring to spend Sunday in bed with at least one woman, and more if he felt the desire for it. It was just one such Sunday evening, outside of a favorite tavern of his that his life ended.
Of course his time on the Earth was only beginning. Turned by a beautiful woman with golden hair and christening himself Vincent, he took a month and slaughtered the entire village and surrounding countryside he'd grown up in. Now he wanders the world with his vampire family. Vincent is a creature purely devoted to evil, to finding ever new ways to violate the bodies and minds of humans.
What do you think of the possible love/lust triangle between vincent and Karena and Lucian, Rider? And if we go there? How far do you two want to take it?
SO I gather you like the love/lust triangle idea Rider?
Interesting idea about her daughter being Luciens since no one would know about her even him *lol* She would be a vampire as well so technically only Karena's but it could be an angle for the hunter or for Lucien *shrugs*
I imagine some degree of love triangle is going to be involved, there was a bit of one between Angelus and the Master for a bit. Though personally I imagine Vincent not to be too interested in love, more he dislikes Lucien exerting some form of control.
Well seeing as I'm somewhat basing Vincent on Angelus, and Angelus had no humanity at all, I figured I could ratchet up the evil and remove the more human elements.
Okay let me see if I have this... Shadow poisons Karena at Luciens orders since Lucien is jealous that Karena at the moment wants Vincent instead of him. Lucien then tries to control Vincent more how? Keeping Karena sick or swaying her back to him and if Vincent wants to stay with her he "falls in line"?
well, Karena being poisoned beings them all back to him. That would rekindle some of the feelings between Karena and Lucien, plus Shadow could always tell Alexander that it was only Vincent who killed his family, or he was the one who turned his daughter. I'd imagine that's true, but Alexander's rage would be more focused on Vincent than on the other three.
Lucien having Shadow tell him that and to really hurt him make him have to watch Karena die. after he poisons her then turning his full attention on Vincent all the while its just Lucien wanting him out of the way *lol*
As far as a more overarching plot, I imagine this is the first step towards Lucien removing problem vampires. With the purpose of either establishing a vampire rule, wishing to maintain secrecy, or something along those lines.
Alexander would've poisoned her in a previous fight but Lucian as Shadow would've told him to do it. It'll be a poison that no vampire has ever survived except one...Lucian himself. So they go to Lucian's to find out how he did it.
I was just released from the hospital last evening (migraines are awesome) and so I am a little late to the party. Never fear, I shall get to work on my mad hattress momentarily.
(I had spent the past 48 hours building up ideas for her....)
It wasn't her fault. She had tried so hard to keep the voices under control. It wasn't her fault. She hadn't wanted to bring anyone else into this dark place but then she had seen him. So very broken, confused. Voices had risen, urging her to keep him, take him, help him. How could she refuse? Still though, it wasn't her fault.
Ondine~once a saint, or as close to one as humanly possible, touched by angels, by the gods. By something, larger, more potent than herself. She was good. Very good and her gift of foretelling, of seeing, was one that couldn't be denied. It was an on again, off again gift but she was never wrong.
Her family~from the East. Oriental. But they had traveled to England when she was but a child. A long journey, by boat and carriage. She had been terrified. A man, a dream. Come to darken her sleeping mind, again and again. No matter. Her family had coddled her, raised her, helped her to focus on the good, to be devout.
Then in her 19th year. The dark man found her. The rest...as they say...is history. So no, it wasn't her fault. It was the voices. Always the voices...and him. Definitely him.
