Actually I like both interpretations life sucking vampire or pleasure glutton depending on what genre you wish to write in (erotic horror, or erotic fantasy).
My complaint is usually in the setup or the portrayal of them. They're creatures where sex is their entire focus in life. They're creatures who find even the most mundane things of life and turn it into the most sensual or the raunchiest thing you can imagine.

If I did write a story for Lit it would be an erotic horror succubus story...since that's where I see the greatest area lacking in getting it right.

Heh. Of course, Carrera's actually a Devil, not a Succubus. But yeah. Makes me think we need some sort of Academy thread where we have demons, angels, and other species all together.

Sounds like an idea.

But I'd like to see what a succubus would do if she got stuck on earth. What would the world be like if a succubus was free here. would it be like a fox in the henhouse kind of thing or would she eventually decide she's had enough and try to settle down and fit in with human society somehow?

Or what would happen if she was summoned by someone by some quirk of fate or spell or something she couldn't drain dry or condemn to hell...that would be the best case scenario for the summoner, right? Or would it be? I wonder...

Yeah but I'm not worried. We have very different tastes in SRPs so even if we do both hit on the same idea for a succubus based thread there's little chance they'd ever be the same execution of that idea.

Anyway, I guess we should stop hijacking my picture thread, Razor.
