Hi Veebs. Nothing's shaking on my end, but probably will soon. I think I've reached my sugar high record. I've really cut back on sweets the last few months and did great during the holidays. Then this weekend I just got stupid. Must be a major case of PMS--I've been a pretty cranky bitch the last two days too.

Other than that--all's good.

I do feel your hurt. I found out right before Christmas that the most influential man in my life has terminal cancer. Knocked me on my ass. I know it's not the same as your Father or your Mother. I've lost my four-legged babies too-it's been almost 6 years and I miss my little guy virtually every day.

Wish I could convey the words to help heal the heart, but I don't know the words. Just know that there are people here who will listen whenever you want.

I'm so sorry to hear about the battle you are about to embarke on... I have a few things I would like to share with you about facing such a battle with somone... things that will help you help them. I'll pm you with the info. Thank you for letting me know there are those around me who will listen.
