Wanderer Mansion

Did you know that nob is another slang term for cock (I think I'm right in saying you don't use that word in the US). Also while on such subjects fanny in England means something completely different to that in the US.

Well color me pink - I didn't know that! Seems I messed that up pretty well. I won't even ask what fanny is to you folks! lol

Thanks for the info. And they said English was English. Now I know: there's English, American, AND Canadian. I think I'll stick around for some more "education." :p

Hi Cate, sorry I missed you yesterday, just popped in for a quick visit. Thanks to you and Den for looking after the mansion while I was away. I shall certainly be having a private chat with Den as I have spoken with Jones who even two weeks later is a quivering wreck. ;)

I had a great time in France, the weather was great (apart from at night when we had storms - but that didn't matter), the food was heavenly and the wine was plentiful.:)

Hi gorgeous Cate

Good to see you. I can assure you that Den will not be in too much trouble, in fact i think I would like her to repeat her exploits - we'll just have to blindfold Jones!

It seems to me like reports of my escapade in the hallway have been greatly exaggerated...Cate?????? You've got some 'splaining to do.

I'd have to see Jones quiver to believe I had that kind of influence over him....:D

And as far as a repeat of my exploits goes---anything's possible, perhaps Cate can keep Jones occupied. I'd hate to see the poor dear anything less than standing at attention (ready to answer your beck and call, of course.)

Welcome back Wanderer, so glad you had a wonderful trip.

Dropping by to say hi to Wanderer, Cate, and all the other fine ppl on this thread! Hope life is treating you well. Hugs and kisses.

While the Master's away

Good morning all - Breakfast is served in the dining room.

My Master will not be around for most of the day, he has asked me to pass on the following messages:

To Madam Sapphiregem "Good morning gorgeous, hope you are well and rested after our recent get together" ;)

To Madam Denae "Den good to see you again, I wondered if you had got lost in those hidden passageways, I really must give you a guided tour sometime. Feel free to repeat your exploits anytime as long as you let me know when you are going to do it" ;)

(Madam as far as I am concerned I would also be pleased if you could let me know when you ar egoing to do it again so that I may be elsewhere. Only because I am not sure my old heart could stand up to another exhibition as that, as lovely a sight as it was.)

To Madam Tonitits "Hugs and kisses right back to you Toni. Hope you are well"

To Madam Tasty_Teaze "Waves and kisses to you TT. Looking good as ever."

To Madam Melancholygirl "To continue your education you may interested to know that English English often spells words slightly differently to American English. An example is "colour" as opposed to "color".

Looks around the big ol' mansion...mmmm imressive i must say...Do tell your Master ty for me if i don't see him first.

Don;t remember whether you need to change the sheets on that one, Jones. The Mrs and I have been trying out all the beds...we might even sleep in one, sometime :)

Sir you are in luck, I have checked with cook who advises she can make up a chicken salad sandwich if you wish.

Thank you Jones that would certainly fill the gap. I will take it in the garden as it is such a lovely day. Could I also have a pitcher of iced water please?

Certainly sir I shall bring it all to you in a few minutes.

Thank you Jones and thank cook for me, that was most delicious. I have to go out for a while now and probably won't be back 'till late tonight. I shall leave the place in your capable hands.
