I’m still up in the air about the whole Kyle thing. I’m glad it wasn’t me.

Meanwhile, I’m down here in God‘s country, constitutionally carrying.

Allah truly is merciful!

To study the Buddha is to study oneself. To study oneself is to forget oneself. To forget oneself is to be enlightened by the myriad dharmas. To be enlightened by the myriad dharmas is to bring about the dropping away of body and mind of both oneself and others. The traces of enlightenment come to an end, and this traceless enlightenment is continued endlessly.

I prefer the way of the Dao.

Buddism is based on self study to achieve personal enlightenment and elevation to the higher planes. This is done through a cycle of suffering and rebirth.

Daoism is the aligning of oneself with the universe to free the self from society and align it with nature.

Both are very close in ideology and practice but Daoism doesn't require the suffering and rebirth bits necessary in Buddism. Even so both are slowly being merged, along with Taoism, into a religious pantheon which uses the best parts of both.

This works for me because Mr. MorningStar is all about being a force of Nature. My only suggestion is that you take extreme care to not end up sitting next to the volcano.
