Ice, and I don't want to appear pushy, but I'm prepared to run a short term character for the thread if it helps with the flow of post to keep things moving, be it some one that is killed off or what ever.

Just a thought, but I really don't like seeing such a cool idea start so well, then seem to quieten down so early. I mean no disrespect to the writers at all,.. I'm just stating something that's rather obvious , or at least in my view.

I´d personally go for establishing what characters are active and what characters are not, for starters. Paula is active. I assume Ice´s characters rare active as well, and The PG is around in MSN nearly everyday.

I was going to post another setting piece just to keep us active, while I wait for Marauder's next post. A roll-call is a pretty sound idea.

I was one of the last people to post. It's someone else's turn. I do plan on introducing Jayden soon but he won't start off meeting the other characters right away so don't plan on that moving anything forward.

I think the big hold up right now is in Marauder.

Although, clearly, the concept of going to Lara's farm is a horrible one from a survival standpoint it would probably help give everyone breathing room if this big group broke apart a little bit. So, after Marauder posts, I'll probably have Owen and Lara take off to her farm (maybe with one or two of you if you want) and leave the others in the store.

Eventually, Ahren, I saw the group forging itself under a true attempt to get away from major urban centers and the onslaught of the infection. That will take gathering supplies, materials, and knowledge.

But I don't want it to happen soon. I want this to slow down. I want them to focus on surviving in this town, waiting for help that never comes, before eventually realizing it isn't coming and getting ready to move.

But.

I am -extremely- flexible. I don't want to hamstring any of the writers with my ideas.

I believe we should start by having our characters realize that they are in a Shit Hit the Fan situation, and then acting on that. TV news broadcasts should help with that.

On phone. Sorry if choppy. Hate texting. But yes im good with what ice says here. It makes sense to try salvage the familiar and remain close to what is the home of many, before moving on to less populated places. Im really looking forward to meeting ahren's doctor. The story will really kick off then when they know a little more- based on what he chooses to reveal.

G'Day all. I have posted, though Lit has not seemed to have noticed! I hereby permit anyone who wishes it, to write Gary getting into the building with the rest of you as soon as a door is opened for him. He will probably collapse on the floor in relief when he gets there.

Edit: or maybe Lit is just lagging incredibly, trying to make a liar out of me, or both.

Ok, I've posted Lara, and I hope I got it right. I tried to get everything in, and in a tight time frame, given there was a lot going on. Forgive me if I've missed anything, or got anything wrong. I moved Jessa's dad, but what's happened to him I'll leave to Jessa, I hope that was ok.

I'm away tomorrow for the weekend, to a family thing, but I'll peep early in the morning my time before I leave, and if it needs an edit, please pm me to let me know or its going to have to wait. If the thread progresses much more before I'm back, Ice can, as before, move Lara for me to where ever he feels is needed so as not to halt progress.

I assumed by Lily's post above that Jessa's father was already a zombie. In which case he wouldn't be able to do any of the things you mentioned in your post. We should probably clairfy this before moving on.
