Welcome to I.O.U. Collage for gifted individuals.

Amri (Ships AI)

"You look like a draconian to me," the AI said, sounding like Hitomi from the series in question. "Cute, wings, yup, draconian."
The AI chuckled. "Okay, if you really want to be called a demon, I suppose I could call you that. Just don't go all Uro-...."
The AI was shut up by a well placed slap on the wall from Arivana, muttering about bitchy AI's.

Hellion "James" McKimble

Hellion sighed, sitting with his head propped in one of his hands, drumming his fingers across the coutertop. His father had never not been called a demon. Then again, his father had horns, a tail, was purple, twelve feet tall, and had a wolf head growing from each shoulder.

He took more after his mother, as succubus, who had looked like a beautiful human woman with wings. And fangs, of course. He sighed.

"Yeah, well,...at least I'm not freakin' hardware."

Ari

"I heard that! Amri's one of the most advanced AI's in the system! Once I get that body of her built... wait... that's illegal in this quadrant huh?"

OOC:

Hey, this thread sounds pretty cool. Any room for another girl? ^_^ Though I guess you guys are on a spaceship or something...

Hmm... if there is room... Cats, are there any sub-departments for the College of Social Anti-Sciences? That sounds cute. :D

Yeah, JC, but we'll be coming back down to the school once we figure out what's wrong with Hy. Just on the ship to rest up, restock and be safe for a few hours.

I know nothing about the books this insane school is based on, which they tell me is actually a good thing.
PM Cats if you like, but I'm pretty sure he wouldn't mind. And I wouldn't mind having another girl character about. Would be fun.

Jamie hunched over even more as soarks began to surge around him. "I-I don't know whats going on! Its almost like.... Gah!" Jamie groaned loudly as the sparks grew bigger and became more violent.

'I don't know whats going on... But I have to control it! I can't let it over power me!' Jamie grunted and stood up, taking a few breaths, trying to calm his breathing. 'Mind over matter, mind over matter...' He contiued to repete the mantra in his head, all the while the uncontrolable sparks began to diminish, and color began to return to Jamie's pale body.

"Something is messing with my body... Its becoming harder to control my esp. Its like I'm having some kind extream power surge." Jamie tried to moved forward, but lost his balance and grabed the sink to maintain it.

Ari

I looked at the sparks flying around him and knew they weren't from anything I'd touched before. My magic left a different flavor to the sparks.
Still- they were electric... and I was an electric-mage of sorts.
"Well... do you want me to see if I can redirect some of those? I have a few spare battaries around here."
I opened a cabinet below the sink and pulled out a couple of disk shaped ones. Before he could ask why, I explained. "You try taking a bath while having sparks jumping between your fingers- not good for ones hair at all. Think you can channel into these?"

"I'll give it a shot." Jamie pushed out his hands and channeled all of the extra energy torwards the batterys. "Here goes nothing." After a few seconds smoke began to swirl around Jamie's arms, but it wasn't what Jamie nor Ari had in mind. "Odd... It was eletricity minutes ago... Maybe if I..." Jamie closed his eyes, focusing even harder to make the energy become electric. Through the smoke, smal sparks began to form, and were sucked into the two disk shaped bataries.

"Thats... All... I... Can transfer..." Jamie muttered before leening against the wall. After a few seoncds, Jamie pushed himself off the wall, feeling perfectly fine. "I'm okay now. Thanl you Ari." 'But why am I exhaulting so much power? Its like I'm having an psychonetic growth spurt! I'll have to figure it out later.'

Hellion got up, and followed Ari to where she and that guy were. He grunted, and leaned against the doorway. "I dunno what the laws are about AIs around here. Never had much need to know."

He shrugged, and looked at the guy. He really should try to remember his name. He gave up with a mental sigh. "Look, I got class in about an hour, so,..."

Ari

"Yeah- classes- shit," I said, standing, taking the two batteries with me. I tossed them into a bag in my room and unrolled the jump pad. "Okay boys- same thing as yesterday. Will take far less energy on my side- I'll be able to use the gravetational pull of the power... ah nevermind. Surfice it to say, its easier on me. Can also pull off the ship's batteries now."
I looked up, as I often did when talking to the AI. "Amri- connect with my room's transmitter."
"Initiating contact," the AI chirped. The room's TV flickered to life showing my room but something was different then before. Almost artificialy perfect... "Hey, Hellion- take a look at this. Amri- run security scan."

Ari

Throwing caution to the wind, I jumped the boys down to my room and followed along. It couldn't be that bad, right?
I took my spare gunblade with a quintet of extra batteries though. Better safe then sorry.

Hellion "James" McKimble

Hellion went a bit slack for a few moments, before finding himself being transported down to Ari's room again. A funny feeling came over him as he glanced around. He remembered, dimly, what the room looked like before they left. An image of Ari on her anti-grav bed followed.

He grunted, and shook his head, drawing his Spellblaster. He glanced around at the room.

Odd.

Didn't she say the door blew in?
And Ari didn't seem the kind to have stuffed animals everywhere.

"Oh, shit, the dorms shifted again. Motherfucker."

Ari

I landed on the bed with a bounce and groaned, the jump pad falling on top of me.
"This isn't my bed- hey those aren't my curtains- and OMG the cute fluffyies! Furbies! Die die die!!!!"
I shot a burst through the stuffed animals on the wall, nearly seething in hatred.
"Damn stupid..."I growled as I fought to regain control of myself. Stupid Furbys- you have one try to kill you and the rest are suspect. I manged to calm down. "Yeah, the rooms shifted. What of it? Lets go."

Jamie bounced off the bed and hit the ground. "Funny... I don't remember Ari's bed being so... Bouncy..." Jamie looked up and noticed that the room was pink, and there were stuffed... Uh... Formerly stuffed animals all around the room.

"Sh-shiiit... The dorms shifted again?" Jamie stood up and rubed his sore head. "Ari, insted of targetting your room on top of your bed, why don't you target your bed?"

Hellion grunted, and glanced over at the guy. He should make an effort to learn his name, he realized. "Why not target the bed? How about the low but still exostant percentage you'll accidently merge with the bed? If you want to be know as matress-boy, I'm sure she can arrange it."

Hellion moved to the door, kicking it out and slamming it right into another student, walking down the hall. Hellion looked at the unconscious student, and then glanced up and down the neon pink halls.

"Where the fuck are we? Did we move deeper into this Twilight Zone?"

Ari

"I've never merged anyone with a bed," I said, sounding rather dejected. This was the first time my jump technique hadn't been praised- was a bit crushing. I looked around the bed and saw my problem.
"I jumped here because this is physically my room- I imbeded the jump links into the walls, not realizing that the rooms move around. So the walls are mine, even if the rest of the stuff isn't."
I wheeled on Hellion. "And I have NEVER merged anyone with anything by jumping them or it somewhere. Though at the moment I'm tempted. Anyway- moving right along..." I paused a moment before going on, "I'm going to find my room. I imagine the idiot that owns this Furby infested room will be back at some point and probably won't welcome two strange guys in it."
I laid my hand against the door, testing to see if it was warm- it wasn't. I pulled the door open, moving with it so I was behind the door- just in case.

Hellion "James" McKimble

He turned around, looking at Ari. "Hey, I never said you would. I just said it was a possibility. Not even the greatest skill can beat the possibility of failure."

He watched as Ari went to the door that had swung shut when he'd stepped back in. He sighed. She was upset. Not good. Maybe he should give her time to get over it?

He went back out into the hallway, stepping over the unconscious student, and started down the hall. It didn't really matter which way they went. Eventually they'd either get to a stairwell or something, r they could find a window. Unless they were underground.

He shuddered.

Ari

I watched Hellion step past me and saw him shudder, though there was nothing in the hallway to make him do so. Uh-oh... did he think I was that cross? Not good... could be useful though, the female side of me chirped. That little voice got quickly slammed back in the box with the rest of the girly-lets-abuse-males shit and left me to do buisness.
"Hmm... well- left or right?"

Jamie gave an dark glare at Hellion before following him and Ari. 'Ass,' he thought, "even I don't think Ari's technology, and her own natural skills would ever faulter and do something like that. Thought, it'd be nice to see YOU be stuck in the matress!'

"Hmm... well- left or right?"

Why am I even following these people...?' Jamie looked at both directions, to the left was an stairway, and to the right it curved to the left, so it'd probaly led to more rooms, or an elevator. "Know what... You guys go left, I'll just go right."

Hellion "James" McKimble

Hellion look to the left, seeing the stairs. In this cheapskate scholls, the elevators rarely worked probperly. In fact, he had the thought that maybe the faculty's idea of properly working elevators involved killing as many students as possible in 'accidents'.

He noticed the stairs opnly went up. "Oh, no. Dear Goddess, please, let us not be underground." He shuddered again at the thought.

Ari

I looked at both guys. Hellion was tripping and Jamie was... well least he wasn't insulting me.
I sighed deeply and walked out past Hellion. "Come on, Hellion-kun. We're getting out of here."
I shifted the rolled up jump pad to my shoulder. "Worse comes to worse, I'll jump us out of here, okay? We're not trapped or anything, so lets go."

'Paranoid of being underground? Thats more ridiculous than that dancing rat!' Jamie shook his head and took the path away from Hellion and Ari. At the moment he wasn't exactly "willing" to talk to them, he was having one of those days.

Though assassin turned the corner and looked down the hall... No rooms, to pathsways, no elevators, no nothing, it was dead end hall way. "Well this is a fine place to be..." Jamie was now agrivated, he just wanted to get out, nothing more. He turned around and walked back to Ari, and the freaking out Hellion. "Dead end."

Jamie gave an grunt and leaned against a wall, none too happy. "So what do we do now? Should we transport back to your ship and wait until the dorms shift again? I honestly don't think Hellion can take being under ground much longer."

Ali

I looked down at Hellion- yup, he was starting to twitch.
"I can jump us back but its not going to be pretty," I said honestly. The guys looked at me. "Well, my room isn't exactly mine- I've got some of my tracers and jumpaids but not all of them, which means it'll take me more power to make the jumps."
And put me in bed for a week, I added mentally with a sigh. I was still tired from the two jumps we'd already done- jumping males was much harder then jumping supplies or myself.
"I can do it if need be, but I'd like to save that as a last resort, you know?"

Hellion "James" McKimble

He looked at the other two, his eyes narrowing darkly. "We'll be fine. And don't worry about me. I may not like the idea of being underground, but I'm not going to freak out or anything. Jeez."

He moved off, and started upstairs, muttering to himself and looking for a way out.
