West Richland Tavern.

DJ smiled as he dug into the food, watching and hearing Tess. He just nodded, accepting his cup of coffee as he watched Tess strip off her cardigan and head to the shower. He waited until she was in the shower, before pulling his shoes on and running out to his truck. He grabbed his emergency clothes from the back seat before heading back in. He waved to everyone at the bar, before grabbing his equipment from the extra room.

He started to eat and work, gathering enough information to try to talk to Hannah about something. He knew it was a long shot, but he was hoping he would be allowed to do this, as it would drum up business for the tavern. It would also allow the dancing music, and the burlesque shows to not have limits. He finished with the sound system upgrades, totaling the cost. He knew it wouldn't even make a dent in his finances, and it would be a gift from him for allowing him to do something he really enjoyed.

He looked up, hearing the shower turn off, before closing his laptop and putting the list of items in his pants pocket. He stripped back down to his boxer briefs and wife beater before knocking on the door. "Tess, would it be okay if I showered before we got back to work. My mind needs a bit more of a jumpstart than coffee to focus on music, and it'll help me work the last of the kinks out from locking myself in my room yesterday," he asked softly through the door, waiting for an answer.

"Yeah that's fine, of course." Tess called from the bathroom.

She was stepping out of the shower and couldn't find her towel. She pawed through the small pile of clothes on the floor but didn't find it. She groaned audibly as she remembered she probably left it in the closet.

"DJ? Can you see if there's a towel in my closet? I cant find it," she was a little annoyed she hadn't remembered to grab it. She usually walked around naked if she had to and even though he had seen her naked she really didnt want him to think she was flaunting herself around on purpose.

Rex hadn't stayed at the tavern. He had just finished feeding the dogs, grabbed a sandwich and split without saying a word to anyone. He was awakened in the middle of the night by the "hotel's" night manager telling him he had a phone call in the lobby. Rex did not have a cell phone, not enough money to afford one, so the only way to reach him was at the flop house. Even then very few people knew how to reach him.

The call was from his older brother, Billy. He hadn't heard from Billy in years because Billy was so disturbed by Rex's decisions and addiction. Billy had just stopped trying to get through to him.

Rex listened quietly as Billy told him that his mother had died earlier that day and that she wanted Rex to come home for the funeral. According to Billy, she had specifically directed him to find Rex and see that he got home with almost her dying breath. When Billy told her that he had no idea how to reach Rex she had showed him an address book that had the phone number of the hotel.

Now Rex was approaching the tavern. He wondered if Hannah was around, as he hadn't seen her since the she, Tess and the twins come in and seen the remodel job. He was carry a large bag with all of clothes folder inside.

Rex walked into the tavern. He saw several people in the bar but went straight to Hannah.

"Hey boss lady" Rex just interrupted her conversation with Troy. "I got a call last night and need to go out of town for the week. If I get back, can I still work here? I like the place and I think it is good for me, just feels right."

Rex did not wait for her answer. He simply turned and left the tavern. He did not know if he'd be back or if he'd have a job but he hoped so. He walked to the Western Union office and picked up the money Billy had wired him and headed to the bus station. He was surprised that he had not even looked back at the tavern. Maybe he'd be back and maybe not. With no other real prospects he expected to return. Hopefully Hannah would have him back.

At least he had some clothes to take with him. He paid the hotel bill with the last of his money and so now he was technically homeless. Fortunately, Billy had agreed to send money.

When the bus arrived Rex showed his ticket to the driver and found a seat toward the back. It had been a long time since he had been welcome around his family home. He wondered how that would work out.

Jack woke up fairly early like he did most mornings. He looked though some of the papers he had and contemplated how to kill a few hours since it wasn't 11 yet. He thought to himself if he should be somewhat late on purpose just so that he wouldn't look so desperate. After catching a small breakfast at a diner, he decided to go look around town for a while.

Alexa soon appeared out of her room and went back downstairs, craving another cup of coffee. She had also taken another shower, enjoying the luxury of it.

She went back into the kitchen and got another cup of coffee. She had heard the shower on in Tess's room, and she saw Raven. Beaming, she waved at her. "Hey, are you ready to go when Tess is?" she asked.

DJ quickly searched around the closet, not finding the towel. He wasn't sure what to do, when he just decided to grab his dress shirt. He knew it wouldn't do much, but brought it with him as he opened the door. He was confronted with Tess's nakedness, which he realized was only because of her not having a towel.

"Here. I get shirts designed around the fact that they have to repel water. This should help you if you want," he said, trying to avert his eyes, but failing as he pulled his wife beater off, before waiting for Tess to see what she would do.

"Jesus..." she cursed and grabbed the dress shirt and pulled it around herself before ducking under his arm. She stepped into her closet, her hair dripping rivulets of water down the back of the shirt. She tied her robe around her and tossed the shirt on the chair. She finally saw the towel up on the shelf above her head. She'd forgotten she'd flung it up there to get it off the floor. She sighed, she had always been a little on the messy side and knew she needed to work on it.

She heard the shower turn back on and she quickly stepped out into the hall and grabbed a clean towel out of the linen closet before quietly putting it on the counter in the bathroom. She grabbed her comb off the counter and closed the door behind her.

Tess knew she still had to run a couple of errands and check on Hannah since she didn't look like she felt well the night before. And it was getting later and later. She and DJ wouldn't have much time to work on anything musically related today. She sighed, at least she could show the girls the dance she wanted them to learn and hopefully they could run through it a couple of times so they could practice on their own time and perfect it.

She dressed quickly in her jeans and throwing an off the shoulder midriff top on over it. Her hair was dripping wet and it was unlikely she would have time to really style it today so she threw it on top of her head in a sock bun, knowing that after it dried and she took it down it would curl loosely and look fine. She swiped on some muted eye makeup and mascara quickly. She really needed to get going.

"I have to take the girls to Goodwill, I'll be back shortly and we can start working," she addressed DJ loudly and hoped he heard her.

She grabbed her wallet and slipped on her sandals before closing the door behind her before heading downstairs and seeing Hannah behind the bar, stacking some boxes. Alexa was standing nearby.

"Hey, you ready?"

"Absolutely," Alexa said, smiling. "You look good!" she complimented the other girl, slightly jealous of the other girl's make up.

"Thanks, I just threw it all together," she shrugged, still a little annoyed at DJ and at herself, "is Raven coming?"

"I believe so," Alexa said, looking around for Raven. She found her and beckoned her over, indicating she and Tess was ready to go.

"I could walk he on my breaks? And I'll let you in. No worries." She smiled and kicked off her shoes and sat in the soft grass, her eyes closing as the sun kissed her skin. "The weather is so nice today..."
She thought about him not sleeping in his bed and frowned. "You should try to sleep in your bed at night... You'll get knots that won't rub out love .."

''That would be fine, but you won't be working before the grand opening. You'll have to make sure Hannah's asleep, I was to have her surprise covered and in place. That it gets unveiled at the right time, till then she'll be wondering what it is.'' Eugene sat beside Dee and Sadie got in his lap, picking the little vanilla and caramel colored Chihuahua up. Chuckling he held her up to his face. ''The mighty hunters afraid of ducks huh?'' Sadie listens and tilts her head as he spoke. ''Yeah I'll have to get out more often on days like this.'' Placing Sadie on his lap to stroke her back, she curls up to nap in the nice warm sunshine. ''I know...one hell of a backache this morning.'' After an hour of relaxing in the sun, he looks at his leather wristband watch. It's getting late as the sun began to set, with a deep grunt holding his back and winces. ''It's getting late Dee, better get you back home girl...'' Sadie stirs just enough to open her eyes and snuggle in Eugene's tattooed arms.

(So.I guess we already advanced to the next day, just have the bike set up already in the bar like you guys put it in there with a canvas over it?)

(Certainly Wolf's so good he can time travel and deliver Hannah's surprise for the grand opening :D)

(I was following everyone else's lead where it seemed like the next day occurred.)

(We should have an OOC thread so we can be on the same page, and can tell if we're unable to post when away.) :)

Troy gave Hannah a quick cuddle and a kiss on the cheek. "If you think of anything just give me a call."

Walking out past everyone he waved goodbye and hit the street. His bike was still parked outside and he pulled his keys out of his pocket and started her up. As he let her warm up he flipped open his phone and scrolled down through his contacts. Finally he dialed a number and waited. "Phil is that you. It's Troy. Yeah long time buddy, what's it been like six months. You still working security for that rent a cop place. Ahh you pussy get a real job. Look man I need a favor. Yeah yeah I know. Look it's about that warehouse you were guarding a while back, the one with all that old Mardi gras stuff in it. Do you know if it's still there. It is, great. You wouldn't happen to know the owner would you. Oh Phil your a legend. Come down to a bar called Hannah's place and the first few rounds are on me buddy. Alright I will go see this guy. Later Phil."
Troy hung up and then typed in a name on his mobiles GPS. Luckily it wasn't too far away. He would easily be able to make it there and back before opening time. Grabbing his helmet from the lock strap on the side of the bike he put it on and set off. He hoped this worked out, as it would help the girls and Hannah out a lot.

Eugene had gotten the Hanna bike rolled in during the night, Dee kept the secret letting him in at 3:00 am. With a black canvas and empty boxes beneath it, the beautiful cherry red custom Harley looked like supplies. Hopefully Troy had the perfect distraction for Hannah, with tables in front of it she woudn't notice anything. Thanked Dee with a brotherly hug and kiss on the cheek, she was a good kid for helping Eugene out. ''Thanks DeeDee you're a angel appreciate all your help, get back to bed you have a busy day tomorrow.'' He was grinning like a kid at Christmas doing this, heading out the tavern door and back over to the shop. Thinking about Hannah's reaction it was going be so cool, getting to pay her very loyal friendship back was awesome. Taking the stairs up to his apartment two steps at a time, unlocks the front door stepping inside and pumps his fist and shouts. ''YEAH BABY!'' Sadie yaps jumping on him and wagging her tail, undressing and climbing into bed Eugene flaked out quickly asleep. Sadie just jumps up on the bed right on up after him, curling up at the foot of the bed she's soon fast asleep.

She sighed softly alone at the bar except for Kari and Dee who were showering for he day. She had laid out the girls' outfits and started on the specials. Soon the bar filled with smells of pizza, and various hot bar items. By herself she wheeled out the salad bar display, pizza bar display and several hot bars with anything from left over pasta to chicken. She was exhausted and just wanted to sleep, but instead she laid out the all of her ladies outfits ranging from sizes XIS to XL.
She then put some glasses on ice, prepped the gun's, scrubbed the mirrors, cleaned up the rooms for board and pleasure. Marked the ones too far gone to.use at this current time. Then she made her way down to the bar floor to wipe up the tables, put away extra stuff, and shuffle her playlist. Just some jumble of genres she had on her pandora.
The bar looked amazing she had to admit, she flipped on the var light, and the matching front light. The Nien red leg pumping, the blacklight lettering Rexy to.glow. The lights Troy ad installed were perfect.for a rave if the opportunity arose.
She had some.glow sticks left over from parties she had hosted and put out a for sale box for $2 each. After doing all that work she piratically collapsed into the chair behind the bar. Her wall clock read 10:45 and she sighed less than 2 hours till opening.

"Hey Hannah, are you feeling better today?" Tess approached her, leaving Raven and Alexa behind at the bar.

DJ showered quickly, trying to get as much of himself clean without smelling like fruit or feminine lotion as he could. He heard Tess leaving him a towel, before he finished washing himself. Once he was done, he stepped out of the shower, and dried himself off. He sighed happily, having enjoyed the hot water, before getting dressed in jeans and a black t-shirt.

He stepped out of the bathroom, before noticing Tess was gone. He pulled his shoes on, before gathering everything up into his bags, and grabbed his dishes. He quickly made his way downstairs, seeing Hannah and two new girls he hadn't seen before. He smiled, before setting his bags and equipment down, and walked to the bar. He smiled, before looking around. "I'm not quite sure where you want these dishes, but I can wash them if you show me where they go," he said. He yawned, before finishing off the coffee and thinking.

He set the plate down with the coffee cup, before quickly retrieving his list. He made his way back to the bar and looked at Hannah. "Tess called me about the music for the burlesque shows she wants to do. After running some tests, I found what your system could do. If you'd like, I can show you what would allow you to play everything you want, sound very good in doing so, and save you more money than your current system," he said, offering his services as a consultant to Hannah.

"Hmm?" Her soft voice sounded, she glanced up at Tess and forced a small smile. "Yeah, much." Her voice held a tiredness to it.
Her gaze them met the Pool table guy's and she smiled a little less as he rambled on about systems. "Do what ever you want. Be careful with those old systems, they might not mean anything to you, but I can rig them up in my room if I must." Her voice was serious and stern, most of it brought on by her illness, some brought on by her personally unknown slight distrust if all men.
She ran her palm over the back of her sore neck before cracking it with a turn of her head. "Just... Be careful okay? I'll check out your work and pay you accordingly."
