West Richland Tavern.

Tess giggled, "Don't listen to him, we've never taken him shopping. He doesn't even know how much trouble he would be in if he went with us."

She added some cream to her coffee as she waited for it to cool and she checked the clock.

"It's just after 7, we don't open until 11 so we will have plenty of time to get you an outfit for today and something casual for after work. After you get a few clients you can go shopping and add whatever you want to your wardrobe. Which brings me to my next point, we need to talk about clients." she gave Alexa her best motherly look, which wasn't great. Hannah was always better at this stuff.

"Don't feel like you have to do anything you don't want to do, always agree on what a client expects from you before you decide to take him to your room. That's what the lounge is for, it's a little more private than the bar room. Have you ever done anything like this before? I mean, are you experienced with men at all?" she hoped she wasn't embarrassing Troy or Alexa but, this talk needed to happen. This girl was young and eager, she could easily get herself into trouble or get hurt.

Troy looked at the young girl then at Tess. "And just where are you taking her Tess.If I recall you don't have much money yourself and you need some outfits for this show you are putting on and maybe one or two to work in."
Troy already had an idea forming in his mind. He wondered if they still had the stuff though, it had been a little while. Well it was worth a phone call.

"Yeah, I've done this before. Still relatively new but," she shrugged. "Paid the bills and all, so I must be doing something right. Just had nobody protecting me is all." She gave a shrug. "It was also out on the streets, which makes a big difference."

"Just to Goodwill for the casual clothes Troy," she answered before considering Alexa's answer.

"Okay, well Hannah will set your base rate for you, and then any extras will be added onto that. The kinkier, the more money. I personally don't mess with guys who have weird fetishes or tendencies towards sadism. It's all up to you what you are willing to do, and if they don't comply," she paused and looked meaningfully at Troy before continuing," that's what the big guy is for."

She thought for a moment.

"You know Troy, maybe we should install panic buttons in our rooms, how are you going to know if we're in trouble while we're up there with our doors shut?"

"Not to mention screams may just be really good sex," Alexa agreed, seeing Tess's point. "We would loose clients fast ifyou keep busting in because we were sscreaming.

Raven had come back after her walk and fell to sleep quickly. Now she woke up to the smells of coffee, bacon and eggs. She stretched, got up and put on a hoodie and yoga pants and headed downstairs.

She saw that others were up before her and already eating.

"Good morning everyone."

Raven headed to get some coffee and creamer. She grabbed a slice of bacon and started eating it.

"I am sorry about last night Tess, I thought he was pretending not to know. If you think Hannah would want me to leave I understand."

"Good point. I will look into that. We need to get your rooms done ASAP then so I can conceal them. We don't want them out in the open so the customers know what to keep you away from. Hmm maybe I might even get you ones that look like a piece of jewellery so you can have it on you at all times without raising any suspicions. That way you can activate it at any time without having to search for it."

Tess nodded as Troy explained. "Whatever you and Hannah want to do." she filled half a plate of eggs and sat them in front of Alexa before making her own plate and taking a seat at the island as Raven came in all flustered.

"Raven, don't worry about it. I know you get my point about discretion now. You don't have to go anywhere. Hannah hired you, i'm not firing you. Have some breakfast." she gestured to the grill where the hot eggs sat.

"By the way, Raven this is our security guy Troy. Troy, this is Raven." she took a couple of bites before adding, "and he's a damn good cook."

Troy saw another new face. Just how many people had been hired last night.
"Hi I'm Troy, resident Security and Handyman. You need anything give me a holler, I probably know someone in this town that could help you out, Speaking of which, Tess I don't want to get your hopes up but I might be able to get a few things for your show. Give me a few days to get in contact with a buddy and we will see. I will probably be able to get a decent deal on it too."

Alexa nodded in agreement, swallowing her mouthful of eggs, her eyes closed in happiness. She really hoped her youth didn't get in the way, but she also knew that sometimes, being younger than everyone else helped those around her. She practically scarfed down breakfast and leaned back a little, drinking her coffee. It was good to be around people who didn't act like she was a social pariah.

Raven relaxed and smiled slightly knowing she still had a job and a place to stay.

"Thanks! Hi Troy, good to meet you and very happy you cooked!"

Raven walked over and got a plate of food while waiting for her toast to pop.

"Good morning Alexa." Raven said while crunching on some more bacon.

Raven refilled her coffee cup and brought her plate over to join them.

"Heard the music last night, good selection. Was that you Tess?"

"Yeah, that was our opener I think." she smiled.

Tess' eyes brightened, "that would be amazing Troy. Check on it and let me know, I appreciate it so much." she smiled and finished off her eggs before taking another sip of her coffee.

She sighed.

"I better get back upstairs to my guest, you girls get ready and once Hannah gets up we can ask to borrow her car to run errands."

She filled a plate of eggs and another coffee cup for DJ before topping her own off. She walked out of the kitchen balancing it all carefully and thanking Troy again for cooking. She headed back upstairs and managed to wrestle the doorknob and get inside her room, sitting the food on the nightstand and hoping DJ would wake up soon.

"Guest? Hmmm. Did you sleep well Alexa? My bed was pretty nice, and this food is to die for."

Raven winks at Troy when she puts another fork full of food in her mouth.

"Thanks girls but you should know that flirting with me will only get you teased in return but won't get you anywhere. The owner and I have something happening at the moment and I will do nothing to jeopardize that. I have always been a one woman guy. Teasing banter is fine as long as you realize that is all it is. Now I hear you girls basically have no clothes and Tess is taking you shopping later. Well I have a thing for women in distress. Can't leave them in it. Here," Troy says handing each of them a fifty dollar note. "Consider this an investment of mine. If you girls don't look good, this place doesn't get a good reputation and we don't get customers and i can't get paid. So I am looking out for myself here."

"Oh Troy I was mot coming on to you, I wink at everyone. Sorry for the confusion."

Raven looks at the money Troy offered.

"Thanks for the offer, but I have a bit of money and prefer not to be indebted to others if possible."

Raven already owed Hannah for the room and food but figured that would come out of her pay. She wondered when Hannah wanted to talk about pay, rules and such. She would go to the thrift store with Tess and Alexa, and hopefully Hannah would be ready to talk when they got back.

Alexa's eyes widened. Never had a man just willingly handed money over to her. "Thank you," she said softly, accepting the money. She knew what Raven meant, and agreed, but she only had maybe $10 on her. "I'll be back," she said. "Raven, let me know when you and Tess are ready." She headed upstairs to the safety of her room and cried quietly at the generosity of her new friends.

Troy looked at Raven and smiled. "Hey no harm no foul. Better to have these things out in the open than to get things confused huh. As for the money I never said it was a loan or that you would be indebted to me. My Mother just raised me that way I guess. I can't see a lady down on their luck and try not to help. Goes for guys as well but not as much. I can tell someone running away from something or drifting to somewhere a mile off. I have worked in more places like this than you probably have. The offer still stands with no strings attached but if you don't ant it no skin off my nose."

Hannah woke up at eight and groaned. She sat up and knew she had a fever, and walked to the bathroom. Taking several different pills. She then found clothes and made her way to the shower. After about forty minutes she emerged from the stairway. Her green eyes sparkled, and her long eyelashes touched her eyebrows. She had eyeliner on just her top lids, and soft green eyeshadow. Her lips were lined in a deep red, and her red curls layer in ringlets down to the middle of her back. A tight corseted red and black dress hugged her body tightly, and pushed up her small soft breasts. A leather choker clung to her neck, a crimson heart glinted above her cleavage. The soft lace ruffles rested just below her ass. Her long legs were accented by fishnets and black and red stilettos.
Her fingernails were painted red and the paleness from her sickness made everything more powerful and vibrant. Without bothering the others she began to hang red christmas lights in the windows. She made her way over to the stage and flipped on the sound system and plugged in her pod into the dock. The soft music played and she sighed.
Then gradually she made her way behind the bar into the storage unit. She brought out boxes of clothing all similar in style to her own, just more revealing. She rested them on the table and then started facing the liquor. She smelled the food and just felt nauseas. She held her breath and leaned against the bar trying to keep it together. Pouring her self a shot of whiskey she forced a smile.

"Hope... It dangles on a string, like a slow spinning redemption winding in and winding out the shine of it has caught my eye. And roped me in so mesmerizing so hypnotizing, I am captivated I am vindicated. I am selfish. I am wrong, I am right. I swear I'm right and I knew it all along. And I'm seeing in me now.... the things you swore you saw yourself..." When she started to sing in was shy and soft, but as she wiped everything down and absentmindedly continued singing louder and louder as she got more into it.

Blushing as she realized how loud she had gotten she silenced herself as the song continued softly over the sound system.

Troy had heard Hannah singing and had made her a hot cup of lemon tea. If she was still sick it might make her feel better. He walked up behind her and placed it on the bar and wrapped her in his arms nuzzling her neck. "Good morning beautiful. Feeling any better this morning?"

She jumped lightly an leaned back into him. Her eyes closed tightly. She nodded her head slowly, and swayed with him to the music. "Better... Yes. You?"

"I am always good when I am with you and you are happy. I have some errands to run but I will be back before we open. Are you going to be alright here today? Do you need me to pick you up anything while I am out?"

DJ woke up during the night when he felt movement around, and then on, him. His eyes were adjusted to the dark, something that he had found early on took less time for him than normal. He looked down and saw Tess sprawled across him, in as intimate a position as ever. He stiffened slightly, not knowing what to do. One side of him wanted this, but the other side wasn't sure what to do. He sighed, deciding time would tell, as he slowly fell back asleep.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
DJ woke up with a groan. He realized that he was alone, in his shirt and boxer briefs in a strange bed. He shook his head slowly, as he realized where he was. He looked around, before noticing that Tess wasn't in the room. He heard the steps creaking outside, before he stepped out of the bed and pulled is jeans on, removing his shirt and standing in a wife beater. He opened the door, smiling as he saw Tess bringing food. He rubbed his face, groaning at the unshaven stubble, before smiling again and saying, "Thank you. Let me help you with that."
"I got it," Tess assured him as she set the plate down and smiled. She was still holding both large coffee cups. She wondered if he realized she'd slept on him for what was probably most of the night. Her cheeks flushed.
"Um, here," she held the cup out toward him, "im going to get in the shower."
She took a couple of sips of her coffee before taking off her cardigan and tossing it back across the arm chair. She felt the heat of his gaze on her body.
