Alexa laughed and slid down the pole, grinning. "I have fallen off a pole before. Was much higher up. Momma wasn't happy, especially because I got a broken ankle because of it."

"You don't have to actually get on the pole. The secret to the pole is to make them imagine they are the pole and let it go from there" Raven smiles as she stands in front of the pole, spreads her legs, grasps the pole with both hands and moves up and down the pole. Then she wraps one leg around the pole as she continues to move up and down. "See?"

Tess just shook her head slowly, "You're not getting me on one of those things. And the dance isn't a pole dance so hop down and come over here so we can start."

She started with the first 8 count of steps and within an hour they made it through almost three quarters of the song. The girls caught on quick. They were all breathing hard and Tess could tell her whole body was covered with a sheen of sweat.

"Let's take a water break, we're going to have to get ready for work soon but I wanna run the whole thing that we've gone through so far. Whenever DJ gets here we can run through it with the music before opening in our work outfits so we see how it works with with the heels okay?"

She put her hands on her hips and went behind the bar to fill up water glasses. She drank almost a half of one in what felt like one gulp. So far Eric's therapy was holding up but she'd been dancing barefoot. The real test would be how her body felt after her shift in high heels.

Alexa drank her water slowly, savoring the taste. The dance was a lot of fun, she enjoyed the choreography worked with the music in her head. She finished her water and went up to the stage again to dance some more, making sure she was getting the moves right.

Troy and Kit worked on all the doors. It was a relatively easy job. All they had to do was remove the old door knobs and put in the new ones he had bought that had locks on. Simple but time consuming. By the time they were finished he only had about half an hour to set up the camera's. Luckily he knew exactly where he wanted them. 20 minutes later they were up and transmitting and he checked the computer system and got pictures from all four cameras.

"Thanks Kit you were a big help. Tonight during work hours you get to be a bus boy. Just clean tables and wash up. We will sort out other duties later."

 

[Wolfias]

''Oh well you know how young men can be..I was far worse than that at his age.'' Reaching into his pocket for pack of gum, Eugene withdrew it offering Raven and Alexa a piece. ''Gum?'' He slides out the foiled wrapped gum, opening it and folds the piece into his mouth. Wading the wrapper up tossing it into the bin. ''Wolf with the winning three pointer at the buzzer! Seriously...Kit's probably a good guy when you get to know him.'' Watching Kit and Troy talking was a good sign, Eugene learned long ago first impressions didn't tell a lot. ''So...what kind of dance number are you ladies working on?'' Propping his elbows up on the table, to rest his chin in his callused hands. A slight grin and a curious expression on his face, a little twinkle in his medium brown eyes. Kit caught Eugenes attention with his apology, and the grabbing of his hand with a firm handshake. ''Nice to meet you Kit...kiddo was meant for Alexa actually. Can't say I blame you though..I've never liked being called that either.''

Rex returned from upstairs and stared at the girls while they practiced. He nodded to Troy, a casual greeting but did not speak. He was too interested in watching the girls move and play on the poles. He did not remember the poles being there but thought Raven was looked really hot when she wrapped her body around it.

Alexa laughed, watching Raven. "Hon, I know that. I just like climbing them." Catching the gum Wolf tossed her with a thanks, she popped it in and chewed a bit. She smiled at the interaction between Kit and Wolf. "Yeah, I'm not sure why Igot stuck with kiddo," she teased. She ran her ffingers through her hair, trying to get the knots out.

"I can see you are comfortable using the pole Alexa, just trying to get Tess comfortable with it also. I figure Hannah had these installed so she expects us to make use of them." Raven says.

Raven looks over Eugene and accepts the piece of gum. Their eyes meet and she catches her breath. "Thank you" she says and blushes slightly.

"It is nice that we have different types of dancing in here! I like this routine Tess, it is fun!"

Tess noticed Rex staring off into space, "Hey Rex will you pull all the chairs down off the tables, wipe everything down, and all that crap?"

She checked the clock again, about an hour and a half before opening, she turned her attention to Wolf. She noticed how his jawline and the shape of his eyes mirrored that of his younger brother. She shook her head, she needed to stop thinking about Eric so much.

"It's sort of a hip hop burlesque infusion," she answered his question before addressing the other girls, "We should probably start getting ready. I dunno about you two but I need a shower."

"Amen," Alexa agreed. Sliding off the table she had perched herself on, she smiled at Kit and Wolf and made her way upstairs. She wondered if Kit was old enough to realize what this place was.

DJ parked his truck behind the tavern, before making his way to the front door. He wasn't quite in the mood to work, but was hoping it would pull him out of this funk. He sighed as he walked through the doors, before making his way to the sound booth. He set up quickly and efficiently, his mind going back to how he prepped for fights as well.

Once everything was set up, DJ looked around, seeing a young kid, Rex, Troy, and Wolf. He smiled as he walked over to the bar. "Evening boys," he said, before sliding into a stool next to Wolf. "I asked your younger brother if it'd be okay to help work on the bike I ordered, but he never really gave me an answer. I just wanted to make sure that'd be okay with you. I've been working on an older Monster at home, so I have an inkling of what I'm doing. The Monster is more for fun zipping around places, but I'd like the chopper as my go to bike," he said, before getting up to fix a glass of water. He saw Tess behind the bar, before nodding and smiling to her. "Ready for the shows?" he asked.

"Getting there," she nodded before taking another sip from her water glass, "we need to run through the dance with the music before we open tonight and hopefully tomorrow we can start working on the second song."

Tess realized suddenly that DJ could make this very awkward for her if he mentioned to Wolf he had seen her with Eric at the shop.

"I better go get ready, it's getting late." she dumped out her glass and headed upstairs.


She showered quickly, did her hair in record time and started pulling outfits out of her closet to see what she wanted to wear tonight. She sighed and decided on her hot pants again, with her green corset and heels. The heels were much more comfortable than her boots and would hopefully not completely ruin her legs for dancing tomorrow.

DJ seemed to pick up that Tess didn't want him to talk about earlier, but the way she rushed off showed how little trust in him she had. He sighed, before moving through the tables to his booth. He got the dance list ready, before waiting for the girls to make their way on stage. He knew he needed to loosen up, but also knew the only way he could do that right then was to fix a drink.

He quickly made a whiskey sour, but about a half mixture, as he didn't want to get drunk. After fixing it and walking back to his booth, he started playing some of the music he worked on at home while waiting, wanting to hear it over loud speakers, instead of his headphones.

Eugene winks at Raven as she thanked him, their eyes she blushes and his smile widens. ''You're welcome Beautiful.'' Standing from the chair Eugene walks to talk to DJ. ''Heard you ordered a Big Wolf in matte black..and you want to help build your baby? I'll let you if you'll help me with a sound system..it's for a new design on another bike. Leaning against the bar as he spoke, Eugene kept his eyes on Raven as soon as she returns.

Raven goes to her room and showers. She puts on a black leather mini dress that zippers up the front from top to bottom. She also puts on thigh high nylons and secures them to her garter belt. Raven fastens a black velvet choker around her neck with a small silver broach in the middle of it. She decides to put her hair up and just leave a few loose tendrils to frame her face. She applies her makeup skillfully accenting each feature. She then applies hairspray to make sure her hair holds up at least until the first customer. Slipping on her ankle high, 3 inch heel, black leather boots, she heads downstairs.

Catching sight of Raven in a little black number, stockings and garters with stiletto ankle boots. Swallowing hard his heartbeat speeding up quite a bit, she was to say the least she's breathtaking. Everyone and everything else fades into the background, Eugene might as well have had tunnel vision. He usually wasn't one to stare at a woman, but he didn't realize what he was doing.

DJ smiled and nodded. "Sure, I can help you with your sound system. Just have to tell me what you want to do, and I can look up the parts, and then install it for you if you'd like. Just gotta let me know. The Monster is almost up and running, so once it's up, I'll be able to make it back and forth to your shop a whole lot easier," he said, before seeing Raven walk into the room. He turned his music off and got ready for the practice, knowing that Tess and Alexa should soon be down.

Alexa bounded downstairs, wearing a midnight blue corset with a black mini skirt. Her hair was in a messy ponytail thatshowed a mass of curls and her makeup aaccented her eyes and cheekbones, and she wore 3 inch black heels.

"Sorry it took so long," she apologized, tossing her bangs out of her eyes. "Shall we start?"

DJ chuckled at Alexa. She was so carefree, and seemed to never really get down. "We are waiting on Tess. She isn't back downstairs yet," he said, sipping his drink as he selected the practice music, setting the levels, and getting everything ready to go. "Oh, by the way. Are you two girls wanting your playlists, or are you happy with what Tess has?" he asked Alexa and Raven.

Raven was glad Alexa came downstairs when she did. Eugene was staring at her and hadn't stopped yet, it was like he was in a trance. Raven smiled at him. "So, does your staring mean you approve of my outfit?" she asked him.

"Oh, is that one of the corsets you got the other day? It looks so cute on you!" Raven says. "We are just waiting for Tess."

Alexa beamed at DJ and Raven. "Thanks, Raven," she said. She shrugged at DJ's question. "I'm not sure, I'm okay with what Tess has," she said. She disliked solos, she was never confident in them.

"I don't need a playlist for the show, at least not yet. But I wouldn't mind a few songs plugged in throughout the night if I am not busy that I could use to pole dance." Raven suggested to DJ. "After all if Hannah put the poles up I am sure she expects us to use them, right?"

 

[raiguy]

DJ shrugged. "You have no reason to worry about it if you want a solo, or your own music. Just have to let me know, and I can put it in," he said. He sensed that she might want a solo, but maybe wasn't sure she could do it, as he walked up to Alexa, pulling her gently closer. "If you want a solo, don't be afraid. You're a beautiful woman, and all you'd need is a confidence boost. If you want, we can even work on one away from everyone else, before showing it to Tess, Raven, and Hannah to see if you can do it," he said before stepping away from Alexa and back to his booth.

Alexa nodded at DJ's suggestion, and she didn't mind it. It was nice, and she was kind of glad that he knew what to say. . None of her dance teachers knew how to do that. Maybe she would take him up on his offer. She smiled and AAT down, waiting for Tess.
