This parenting thing is soooo hard. Even the good parts! I am lucky enough that both my kids are doing amazing things as they find their place in the world. But those things also mean that they are away from me…

Today I didn’t really get to say goodbye to my daughter because she had to run to catch her connecting flight and she was in a different seat than me. And it so confusing to be happy that she left and miss her so much - I hope that these times we have together will be memories for her like they are with me.
