Damn, I didn't know there was a new one out.The latest Prey novel by John Sandford.
Yep. Came out March 25th I believe.Damn, I didn't know there was a new one out.
That's tied for my favorite book ever. Other one is The Once and Future King by T.H. WhiteThe Stand by Stephen King
I am halfway through the first book in this series, The Relic, and loving it so far!I'm almost finished with Angel of Vengeance, the most recent book in the Agent Pendergast series by Lincoln Child and Preston Douglas. It's kind of the finale in a trilogy set within the series. They have strayed into the now cliché realm of time travel, which is slightly irritating, but it's still an excellent book. I just hope it doesn't mean that they've run out of original ideas now.
I have Shark Heart but haven't read it yet.Read Shark Heart by Emily Habeck, basically about a man turning into a Great White! Was moving and oddly beautiful.
Now on Hagstone by Sinead Gleeson which is a cracking read so far.
It's crazy but I bloody loved it.I have Shark Heart but haven't read it yet.
I haven't read every single book in the pendergast series up to now, so I think I can go back and read some of their earlier stuff again. Angel of Vengeance was really good, though. All three books in this little trilogy were. I'm just afraid that falling into a time travel/parallel dimension trope is a bad sign for them going forward. Like the MCU.Yes, it seems to me that they are loosing that edge they had. I still read them but don’t look forward to them as much.
