I've only just started it; it was recommended by a co-worker who's enthusiastic about the whole trilogy; I was drawn to it by the mild link to Orwell too

I haven't read Robert Jordan in a long time. Maybe after I am done meandering my way through Andre Norton, I will revisit Jordan.
