Because sometimes it is so shocking / disturbing / mentally draining that it's easier just to pretend none of it happened in the first place.

That scenario just doesn't make sense to me because of the type of board this is. A woman-dominated sex board? Men are the main consumers of sex content. Maybe I'm wrong, but I imagine the demographics/sexual orientation of the majority of folks on such a board would be different.

Let's just say, I don't think the women would be clamoring for male attention if the ratio were reversed.

On the sexual orientation thing, I do believe the reason some guys stuck in sexless relationships become bicurious late in life is because it is simply easier to find a male fwb than a female fwb

Only valid reason for ghosting someone you claim to love is death, coma, or all your fingers or both hands have been amputated. Otherwise it's cruel to go silent and let them worry about you.
