Well. Got cut from work mega early because we're dead. This is both blessing and curse. I lose the hours (sucks), but I'm not bored and I can get back to my Weekendus Interruptus early (good).

Final verdict? We'll call it a win.

Based on what I hear on the news and in the media in general, I am the ONLY person in the continental USA to NOT have seen the Northern Lights.

They've been near Oregon, or can be seen in Oregon... And I've never seen them.. And I think they are amazing!!

I know. Kept looking out of my window in the night, no luck.

Although I have been lucky enough to see it before when we were at 41,000 feet over northern Canada on the way back from Seattle, US. Just as the crew dimmed the lights after dinner so we could sleep, the pilots came on and they turned the windows back on (they can control the windows on the Boeing 787's) the left side of the plane. We got a stunning view for about an hour. Vivid greens, purples etc.

Same! My thermal boots from Merrell are amazing, perfect for whatever I decide to walk through.

But socks, with no irritating linings.. sadly we do not have Decathlon in Denmark.

I have ordered from 4 different brands, fingers crossed that at least one of the brands feels decent on my feet.
