I have the blessing of being able to travel so much... that is a true gift in my life...

But... as much as I travel I just am scared of planes and air flight...Being at the destination is the beauty... just not the ride there

My last flight earlier this month had turbulence quite bad for most of the 2 hour flight...and I knew it was bad when my hubby got scared... nothing phases him in that regard usually...

The worst for me was when I lived in Thailand and was back and forth between there and USA... any flight where you are over the ocean for 13-14 hours is just too much ( for me )...

13-14 hours in the air sounds like torture regardless of turbulence. I guess it’s kind of a situation where in my mind I know I can’t do anything to avoid or mitigate the turbulence, I’m not worried about the plane getting knocked into anything up there and the only thing that is gonna come out of panicking is making myself panic. I’m tall enough and wide enough that flying is at best cramped and uncomfortable so I try not to let the rest of it get in my head

Really happy I got the paint I needed for half price today I’ll probably discover I need a second one by the time it’s gone back to full price, but I’m happy anyway. I needed that little boost today. Just praying with every fibre of my being, that I won’t need that operation. Hoping to be well enough for my birthday outing this weekend! Looking forward to going somewhere I can take lots of photos
