If you haven't read "The Bad Place" by Koontz, you should, it's my all time favorite.

I have read all of his fiction, except the rest of the Maximum Flyer series, but after the last 2 Odd Thomas I was a bit jaded with him. He did a really poor job of finishing a great character. You could tell he wanted to be done with it.

His Frankenstein series was excellent. I really liked those. His writing felt like he had grown. Every adjective didn't need an additional description to paint a picture. His new one, Ashley Bell...need to go to the book thread to see my review .
