remember when you used to do that thing with a flash drive where you would click on the icon at the bottom of the screen to 'stop the activity' of the flash drive before removing it, otherwise everything would get theoretically effed up?

So many things have crossed my mind in the past 12 hours. The past few weeks have been a whirlwind of highs and lows but one thing has always been steady and it is the love and friendship we have for each other. It gets us through those rough times when we feel the weight of life bringing us down. Last night as I laid in bed and watched him sleep every obstacle we crossed to get us here was worth it.
Thanks to everyone who sent messages and texts the past month. Your words mean more to both of us than you could believe. I am sitting waiting for him to get done with his interview and will let you know as soon as we get back home and get settled back in for the evening how it turned out. As he says today is the first day of the rest of our life.
Together we are stronger.
