The birthday party was more fun that I thought it would be and the 3 flavors of homemade ice cream were amazing!

Mmmm ice cream i am jealous

The husband made vanilla bean, pecan chocolate chip and a dulce de leche. The chocolate fudge cake landed up being the side, not the star attraction. I had a small scoop of each and they were amazing!!!!

It was, need to work it off this week since I have to wear a sari on Friday to an event. We all need to splurge once in a while though. If not, where is the fun in life? ;)

Imagine your vocabulary was just one word. That word is "Hey." You need to use it as a greeting, as a warning, as an expression of pain, and an expression of joy. It's the only word you have, for everything.
The next time you hear a dog go "Bark" . . . . What's he really saying?

Hey, I think you should lose that towel.

Something tells me you will work it off and look fantastic doing it:rose:
You are so right need to enjoy the moment ;)

Thinking how nice DoRaMe will look in her sari :rose:

Awwww...It has been a year since I wore one. It is not as glamorous as it sounds, you have to pin everything in place so it doesn't fall off. The cotton ones will stay in place, but the silk ones slide all over and you don't want a mishap!

Yes but that's what makes them look so great

You do wear a petticoat/slip under and then you have the choli (blouse). The slip is tied really tight so you can tuck the beginning of the sari in it, wrap it around once, make the pleats, tuck them in too and then wrap around again and put the pallu (the decorative end) over your shoulder. You have to make sure you cover both breasts or it could be a sign you are an immodest woman. Probably more than you ever wanted to know about wearing a sari. lol
