Troubleshooting Your Novel: Essential Techniques for Identifying and Solving Manuscript Problems by Steven James

SANDY HOOK An American Tragedy and the Battle for the Truth - Elizabeth Williamson

This is the hardest book I've ever read. The book is not a minute by minute account of the Sandy Hook Elementary School murders on 14 December, 2012, though the events of the shooting is briefly covered. The book focuses on the harassment the families of these 26 murder victims endured following the shootings.

The anguish and grief the parents and families suffered is incomprehensible to anyone who has not suffered a similar loss. While I can show empathy and sympathy for the pain and damage inflicted upon them, there is no way I can feel and understand the level of their grief, nor how they process their grief.

Now imagine immediately after the shooting people claim the shooting was fake, nobody died, and the people are just actors. "Crisis Actors".

This book is about Sandy Hooks other victims, the families. It is about their struggle against an online barrage of insults and threats fomented by Alex Jones and Infowars and others. It is about holding Social Media outlets accountable for posting harmful false and misleading information. This struggle continues today, for all thinking people who engage on Social Media platforms as evidenced by the unsupported and debunked claims of election fraud in the 2020 election.

This book is well written by an accomplished journalist and thoroughly documented. I highly recommend it. It will make you cry, it will make you angry, and it will make you shake your head in disbelief.
