I just finished The Raw Shark Texts by Steven Hall today. I've started the Jim Henson biography by Brian Jay Jones. It's hard not to read it in Kermit's voice in my head.

Lolita - Vladimir Nabokov

Such a conflicted book. Gorgeous prose and wit, horrendous subject matter.

I'm into history books.
The last book that I did read was....."The Pioneers" by David McCollough

I couldn't get too far into it. I put it aside without finishing because I wanted to punch the guy in the face.

It was used in another book I'd read, similar subject matter. My Dark Vanessa. It was hard to read.

I highly recommend this book and I'm definitely a McCollough fan both 1776 and The Panama Canal were brilliant.

The Beach Party - it isn't great but, it's an easy read for the time being.
It certainly won't win many awards, however sometimes you need that simpler story to allow your brain time to unwind

I thought the TV series was really good

I don't watch a lot of TV, but it probably wouldn't have been my first choice. Sci-fi is outside of my box. It was something different to try.
