Re-re-re-reading "Unreliable Memoirs" by Clive James. A wonderful, hilarious, life-affirming book.

I downloaded it, but haven't started it yet. It's called,

Raising Cannon Fodder: Gold Star Dad

Written by Ardith Dressler. This is his first novel. It is about his son who died in combat. I used to work with Ardith (He liked to be called, Cecil) and knew his son as he was growing up.

It just came out a few days ago - written a few years after Cecil retired. Regardless of whether any money is made off the book, I hope it helped heal Cecil in some way.
