What Book Are You Currently Reading?

Did you enjoy it? You can see him playing it on YouTube here: https://youtu.be/ZwJKGEWarAk

A weird book in some ways, the interleaving of the piano thread and the 'work' thread, but I enjoyed it.

I'm loving it so far!

Actually, it was that video that introduced me to the book. I played the Ballade in G minor (well, kind of played it) in my youth, and now I've been inspired to try to work on it again.

I just finished Stephen King's Doctor Sleep, and have just started The Turn of the Key by Ruth Ware

I started rereading The Plague by Albert Camus. I stopped because I remembered how much I was bored by it.

Freestyle: Maximize sport and life performance with four basic movements
By Carl Paoli & Anthony Sherbondy

and

The Darkest King
By Gena Showalter

Educational and vampire smut...it’s all about balance lol

I read 3 books by Ruth Ware over the last two weeks. They read so quickly and had so many unexpected twists that I couldn't stop reading. I'm currently reading The Nightingale by Kristin Hannah.

Right now, The Two Georges, which is an alternate history of 1990's America where the Revolution never occurred. Written by Harry Turtledove and Richard Dreyfus (yep, that Richard Dreyfus).

Also reading a historical work, Valour Road, I think it's called, about three men from the same street in Winnipeg who all earned the Victoria Cross in World War One.

I'm a huge U.S. Civil War buff, and I recently got nice copies of the memoirs of both James Longstreet and William Tecumseh Sherman. Those are probably next for me.
