What do you like?

I like...reading a good book...one so good that I wish it would never end.

I have to agree. I have several authors that I read exclusively, and I so enjoy their books that I try to take my time with each one, not taking them to work so they last longer, only reading each one a little every day. I've been on a new one for a week, and I'm about half way thru.

I agree with taking your time on a really good one.
I just re-read the whole series of the BLACK DAGGER BROTHERHOOD(there are 7), now I am just waiting for the 8th one to come out next year...that's a long time to wait.
I have a couple of authors of whom I read all their books.

I'm on the latest Dresden paperback, waiting on the next Furies installment, by Butcher. Also, I picked up several Turtledove books. Feist has another paperback out, too...

My wife fusses at me for being able to read 2-4 books at a time...

Impressive...I don't think I could read more than one book at a time.
Knowing me I would get the characters all mixed up..lol.

Thanks, it's not as bad as it seems, since most of the books are continuations of series.

They are mostly in the same vein, so it's not so hard to read them all. I do tend to find similarities with different authors, though...

I like to read anything but sci-fi. Of course romance is my fav...and I am really into the vampire books.
Time for me to say goodnight so ...keeping to the thread..

I like sleep.!

Well, Vampire books are the scifi of the Victorian era, mixed in with a little horror.

Goodnite, Icey, and thanks for visiting!

I like cuddling up in bed on a Friday night after a tiring week knowing that it's the weekend and feeling warm, and content, and sleeeeeeeeepy...and then hearing the rain outside and smelling the fresh wet earth smell and drifting off in a pink fuzzy glow.....

and then I'm not QUITE so keen on the furry bullet that launches itself onto the bed and under the covers, pursued by her evil cohort who shoves her cold nose in my face and demands attention too!

That first part sounds about perfect, Anne!

My  moment is when my foot is out of the covers and the hound from hell plants his cold nose in the arch of my foot! I tend to jump straight up, hitting my head against the ceiling on a regular basis.

Of course, demondog just looks at me as if this is a daily ritual that I perform before letting him outside.

I like being able to have some quiet time before getting immersed in the dealings of my day. The chance to sit and reflect is often beneficial to my state of mind and to how I deal with the rest of the world. I think that everyone just needs a little time to themselves every now and again.

Some quiet time is necessary from time to time. I get mine in the car on the way to work.

Everyone assume the position and say, "Ohm", in a slow, soothing manner...:D

taking a fun class with a few friends (beading). It is fun to hang out together, have lunch and laugh.

waking my 15 yo daughter up by pouncing on her in bed. Hearing her laugh and hug me.

Knowing that I can talk about anything with the man I love. He understands and loves me and then the laughs we share even though he is in a tense situation.

It's great to do anything fun with friends!

My 11 year old daughter is the same way!

It is so special having a soul mate, isn't it?

I've got to shave today, thanks for reminding me! btw, I love the feel of a fresh blade!

Yes, curling up when it's cold or rainy is the preferred method of dealing with the issue, especially when you have someone to curl up with...

Smelling the air right before, during, and after a storm is my favorite thing.

Giving flowers, now I need my love's address...

Listening to my music...
Listening to others.....
Listening to her voice....
Listening to what my intuition tell me

lots of things....but one really lately is a woman who seems eager and excited and can't wait to get into my pants :)
