I like that I went to the coast on the one nice day we had this summer I like that I had some Ambre Solaire original bronzing oil to slap on - for me it is THE smell of summer!
I like that I had fresh fish and chips (fries) for lunch, watching the waves. I like that I had a real ice cream on the promenade, and a ride on the steam train there, past the old ruined castle, with the Pullman observation car on. I LIKE that it was all 'very Enid Blyton'!

I'm not quite so fond of the fact that I wore a slightly lower cut at the back shirt than usual and so didn't use any sun lotion on my very upper back and shoulders and even 3 days later, I'm still hot, sore and now starting to peel... *sigh*

But it was a good day

I like the NFL draft, the NBA draft, the MLB non-waiver trade deadline and college football and basketball recruiting seasons. I don't know why. But this stuff just fascinates me.

Me too! Every year, I take time out to watch at least the first 2 rounds of the NFL and NBA drafts, and, being in the middle of Tobacco Road, I get to see a lot of stuff about the Big Four recruiting in NC.
