Don't have a sweetheart, so I won't be celebrating this year. I only had a boyfriend once on Valentine's day, and he saw the holiday as a "waste of time and money". So, I've never been able to celebrate it. Never got flowers, or even a kiss. Would have had a boyfriend now, but I never had the courage to ask him out, and now he's seeing someone else.

Pardon me while I go sit in the corner and cry.

My children are my Valentines. They weren't born on V-Day, but you know what I mean.

They love the day, with it's cards and candy. Every year they come running into my room, often before daybreak, to wish me a happy day. They cut out red construction paper hearts to give me, with pictures they've drawn and the "I love you Mom" written in big letters.

<sighing> Ok. I'm getting all mushy and sentimental here.

There is nothing like a child's love... I have 4 and my youngest is 10. I love everything they ever gave me and have it all...
My Mom has seven of us and she has it all too... Nut doesn't fall far from the tree...

i'm not sure what i'll be giving .....even though my kids are 21, 18, and 6 they still all get something. And i'm never at a loss for receiving....last year my older son got me choc. covered strawberries......they were so pretty i wouldn't eat them! lol

my little guy smothers me with kisses and homemade cards....and i always have my family's love....what more could I want

Oh those kisses......wonderful aren't they.. I had my Grandson last night and omg...the kisses I got..

I'm thinking a nice quiet dinner with no kids....since my s/o will be going on vacation for a week with my stepdaughters and I'll be all alone.....but I'll be spending my weekend with my daughter and we'll probably go visit my sister....then of course....the girls all get their own presents....the best present I could get is just being with my family...and watching my stepdaughters kickass in their basketball tournament....

I don't really know what a quiet dinner is..lol..maybe I will get one someday..but then maybe I don't really want one...

I'm giving my honey a model airplane. I give them to him for most occasions. We kinda have this deal.....he gives me jewelry and I give him model planes. It works well!

Also, planning a nice romantic dinner out. And then a walk along the beach at night. We've done that several times before and it's always special.
