What lube do you use?

I'm fond of the slippery silky silicon lubes, but I'm contemplating a new toy that suggests a water based lube.

What do you use and why do you like it? I'm also wondering what would happen if I stuck with the silicon, does it degrade the toy material?

Astrroglide...water based
Check pure romance they make good stuff also but it's pricey

I don't know if you get it in the US but we use Liquid Silk...it isn't designed for where I think you're suggesting it'll be used but it's fab...water based so it's safe to use with silicon toys...doesn't dry out or go sticky and comes in a handy pump dispenser bottle too so you can add a dollop any old time you like...we have introduced lots of our friends to it too and now they all use it...it really is that good...

I've used Liquid Silk and agree that it is great!

Aquagal, if a water-based lube is suggested with your new toy I would definitely get some if I were you, so you don't end up inadvertently wrecking your new investment

I've always found ID Glide to be very effective.

Works well in all possible applications and with toys. Tried others lubes but found them to be too sticky and awkward to wash off.

The big pump bottle lasts for absolutely ages.
