Missing my Mom and my little four legged wonder and having no sense of family. Wishing I had my own family especially when encountering a father rushing through the cold with his little boy today.

And... a good cry realizing that even though I have no family in my life... I have found family in friends and that is something I will always treasure.

I can't even imagine how you must feel right now. Perhaps you might think about bringing home a new little four-legged friend to help bring some one on one unconditional love back into your life. I know a new one won't replace an old one, but the love they give is so special.

Denae... thank you for the wish. It's difficult but I'm learning and adjusting. As for a new little one... I've looked into it. Going to adopt a rescued dog. I'll know when the time will be right. Contacted a rescue organization and they sent an application for adoption for when I'm ready.

AD... Difficult question indeed. Wish I had an answer for you.
