Oh heck no, I can't be elderlyExplaining that the place I work only takes care of elderly people and the starting age is 55.
I mean, I know it intellectually but when it comes out of my mouth, it just makes me cringe a little.
You would be right! My 28yo coworker (arguably a 'man') has no idea how to change the sparkplugs in the 351 C. 1967 Mustang he bought.
He's coming over tonight and we'll be doing the whole ignition system. A new MSD Blaster coil, new wires, a new distributor (Mallory Unilite), Bosch plugs, and a new voltage regulator.
I figure two hours if he watches. Four if he helps.
Noted. One very expensive Mustang for one Baz testicle. Just in case I ever have a Mustang I want to trade for your testicle.Fucker has a 1967 Mustang Fastback. I'd willingly hand over a testicle for this car.

So what you're saying is, in 4 years you can look after me???Explaining that the place I work only takes care of elderly people and the starting age is 55.

55 seems young and not elderlyExplaining that the place I work only takes care of elderly people and the starting age is 55.
I mean, I know it intellectually but when it comes out of my mouth, it just makes me cringe a little.
I just hired someone out of grad school. He was born after I started working at the company!Talking to one of the college interns at my job; they were born after I'd finished grad school LOL
Told ya. I’m impressedUpdate:
I helped Jaymes with his Mustang. Found a bit of Bondo on the one quarter panel but other than that the body seems good. The interior is beautiful.
Did the whole ignition system replacement and upgrade. Timing was way too far advanced. Set it to the high end of spec and it runs a lot smoother. It was loping before. Almost stalling at low revs. Now she runs smooth.
Deep cleaned the 4-barrel carb and adjusted the needle valves and made the fuel mixture leaner. The car was spitting unburned fuel out the rear and backfiring and now it isn't.
Compression tested all eight cylinders and they came up within spec.
Brakes were good. Someone did a four wheel disc brake conversion at some point and it's a nice improvement over the drums this car had as OEM.
Got done at a bit after 1am.
Overall, not a bad car.
@MedicalMuse called it on the car being expensive! Jaymes dropped $65k on it!
I had no idea they were that expensive! My sister had one back in the 1970's and she paid like $1500 for it.
Of course, that's about what you pay for an F-Series pickup with some options now. And the new one will depreciate fast!@MedicalMuse called it on the car being expensive! Jaymes dropped $65k on it!![]()
More than that @dkak001Of course, that's about what you pay for an F-Series pickup with some options now. And the new one will depreciate fast!
