I've been trying to get my son's medical record from the ortho surgeon since July 3. He had called the medical records section and was told they didn't have them. I went into the closest office (mine is 40 miles away) and they located them 'in the old system' since it was 5 years ago - they'd have to get an IT to get them ready.

The following week, I went in for my appointment, and they still weren't ready.

This morning I called and their operator sent me to medical records, where I was told they have his account but nothing in his record. I sent an email to a manager asking her to contact me and why. I was nice, but I was pissed about the run around and these records are important.

Lo and behold, 4 hours later, my reception folk call and tell me it's ready to pick up. Another 2 hours and the lady at medical records calls to tell me to go there to pick them up. Same as the email from the manager.

What a feckin' mess. I'm thinking someone doesn't know what she's doing and that email to the manager got the proper attention.

When picking up packages from Amazon in the mailroom where I live, an old lady who lives on the first floor started yelling at me that I’m ruining this country because I order things online instead of going g to the store. Then she says I shouldn’t bring other people’s packages upstairs for them as it makes them lazy. She kept yelling until I thanked her with a, “Fuck you very much”.
