Spending time with my best friend and her husband. Showing them some new dishes and drinks and my favorite bar which has become ridiculously important to me.

Edit: I know it sounds sad that a bar has become important to me, but it has. It has a community, people who care about me, people who wonder and get worried if I don't show up for a while, people with a lot more life experience who give me solid advice and help me make difficult decisions.

I have seven CDs' worth of new music. International mail has been a bit hiccupy this year so I'm double-glad it made it here from Austria (the one without the kangaroos) without being delayed or lost.

Lockdown restrictions eased a little, and half my friends have been taking the opportunity to give one another cakes, so our house now contains more varieties of cake than I can count.

Music started playing unexpectedly after several minutes of silence - I was all "did I hit the play button or something?" and then remembered that one of the new albums includes a cover of 4'33".
