What made you smile or laugh today? Part IV

The feral kitty I feed asking for pets when I got home from work.

He's usually quite specific that pets can only be given in the morning and only at a particular place on the front patio.

Anything outside that routine is very suspect and causes him to run off without eating.

Maybe this is a little breakthrough. :)

We have 3 full time ferals, plus 2 occasionals... they are equally specific in what they will/will not allow.

Dogs are like people...I prefer the ones with good manners.

Their good manners depend on being raised to know how to interact with people, which is not their natural instinct in all cases, basically good dog owners & breeders. Unfortunately, not all are.

J’s brother promised to make me a cover for the stand mixer for Christmas. Can’t wait to see what he comes up with. :)

Amen to that Brother.

I can't hold back any more. I had to have my 12 year old beagle put down on Monday. He was in a lot of pain and basically confined to the office during the day except for walks. He was a damn fine dog, who, being a beagle grew old but never grew up. Here's to you Watson. Say hello to your Big Brother McGee.

Now, what did you do to the dog bowls? We have not been able to find either of two identical bowls since Monday; the Lab is eating out of a yogurt tub for now).

I’m so sorry for your loss. 💔 I have a beagle mix - they’re the bestest dogs. I hope he’s running & howling to his heart’s content where he is now :rose::heart:

Oh honey, I am so sorry. Losing our babies is so tough and painful. They visit us for such a short time in our lives yet leave such an indelible mark.
Hard to live without them, though.

Ah, sorry to hear it. That's such a hard day.

Willard, who'd moved away, showing up with a plate from Thanksgiving.

My sweet little spice begging for another chapter from Dresden, and then another, and another until I lost my voice.

Daisy Mae still hasn't wagged her tail in over two months... but she DID "sing" our old duet I wrote for her twelve years ago with me when I started crooning it to her as I snuggled and patted her, trying to comfort her.

Smoke limping up and reaching up for me to pick him up just like the little kitten from sixteen years ago.

Twenty-year-old Skeezix clawing my face (gently this time!) to get me to wake up and pet her.

An email from my sister and another from step-son checking to make sure my tailfeathers hadn't gotten plucked yesterday.

All in all, a pretty good day.

I ache to hear this, man. Warm, furry thoughts from our den to yours.

One of our cats trying to get a drink out of the frozen birdbath. He tried walking on the ice...it didn't go as planned. :D

Finishing 85th out of 210.

And omg it's December and I can cum again. Yup. Definitely needed that orgasm. :)
