450 miles in the saddle. The first half was all twisty mountain backroads, where I saw, among the usual suspects, a bald eagle perched on a fence post right next the the shoulder of the road as I rode past, and a black bear who let me chase him down the road a way before he turned into the brush. 10 hours on the motorcycle is a good day.
