On the radio today (UK), they claimed that nearly half of couples who ride in a car together end up EVERY journey genuinely annoyed at each other for something (backseat driving, cleanliness of car etc).
My husband and I have our moments but learned long ago that we may comment (eg, I often remind him that he needs to indicate because the other cars are not mind-readers, and he often takes the piss out of how fast I take corners), but it's *rare* that we get genuinely annoyed so that we keep that negative vibe going after the journey has ended.

Yes, I felt a bit smug and I smiled.

But I know it'll bite me in the arse when they give facts about couples who get annoyed on who does or doesn't make the bed properly every day.
