What pissed you off today?

I was going to put "I was forced to agree to a meeting with a contractor at seven this morning (saturday) by somebody that is going to sleep in and the play with her horses" but

She; "What are you doing this weekend?

Me; Well, I'm going to force myself to go to a transgender munch thingy, and figure out what the hell I can do about this issue.

She; Really? I thought you'd decided you weren't going to be transgendered. You haven't talked about it lately....

"decide not to be transgendered."

Just... wow, yeah.

OMG, because transgendered people have to mention it at least 1x a day or you lose your card.

As for what's pissing me off - still shingles. Christ.

I am going to this concert today though - I already missed one show I bought in advance, dammit.

i am pissed because after my Master collared me 2 days ago..i have not heard from him! :(

DPet, do you (plural) have an agreement concerning communicating with each other - frequency, etc.? Have you even *discussed* the subject of frequency of communication? Whether your collaring and relationship are OL or IRL, the basis of your relationship MUST be free and open communication about all the topics of importance *to* your relationship, and the most important topic of them all is ... wait for it ... you guessed it ... communication!

Ugh. Sorry to hear that Netz.

I'm glad to hear you're getting out though. What kind of concert are you going to?

Still hurting, quite badly, which is causing severe lack of motivation. At least there's only a week and a half left before I can either change what I'm on and hopefully that'll stop the hurt, or actually going in to make sure nothing more major than a small ruptured cyst is going on (paraphrased doctor's words).

Oh, and stinky communication. It's aggrivating the frick out of me, but I can't figure out how to fix it.

Nothing but other people's situations and a slightly achey back so far.

Yay, me.

I'm pissed off at myself, again. Knowing *why* I am feeling depressed as hell does not make me feel any better about it. And I also have fucked up a project at work and am pretty pissed at myself about that. Blech.

I have the worst car ever, I swear! I got it new in '04 and have had issues with it ever since. Most recent issue was about midnight last night, after grabbing late dinner after work, my car decides to just completely shut off and die in the biggest intersection of the city here. And I mean dead dead. Can't turn the lights on in or out of the car, no flashers, nothing.

So, being responsible, I call the police to stay with me until the tow truck comes, and then I call my insurance to send a tow truck. The policeman immediately treats me like I'm a retard by telling me I at least need to turn my flashers and lights on, but he'd prefer me moving the car out of the road. That's after I explain that the car is DEAD. So I explained it again, it doesn't work, see? He says I must be doing it wrong, so he wants to get in and try. Guess what? It's really dead, and I DID know what I was talking about afterall. Then he says we'll just pop it into neutral and push it out of the road. It won't go in neutral (there's some lock thing on the transmission and makes it excessively hard to pull out of park when the car's not on unless you are a mechanic type of thing). That doesn't work. So we sit in the middle of the road waiting for the tow truck dude.

Tow truck dude shows up, wants to go through the same thing the police dude did, with the same results. And then once he gets my car all hooked up and the destination figured out, he starts to hit on me. So not in the mood at this point. Fortunately my friend was there at this time with her car to take me home and I didn't have to deal with anymore guys thinking I must not know how to take care of my car or anything.

I swear I have done every routine maintainance thing on time that you are supposed to do, but stuff just keeps going wrong with this car! Now I'm just sitting, waiting to hear about on if my extended warranty expires this month or August, what exactly is wrong (I'm thinking alternator), and how much it's going to cost if the warranty has expired. Frick.

Find a consumer products attorney who does free initial consults and take him at least a sampling of bills, etc., concerning the issues you've had with the car from the get-go. It may be that you'd be able to get some financial relief from the manufacturer, especially if that particular model has shown a tendency to some or all of those issues. Good luck!

ETA: Oh, yeah... call the tow company and tell the boss there about the a-hole hitting on you. There's no reason to have to put up with that kind of crap.

I'm not sure I have a claim, since everything's been fixed under warranty. The only typical problem I've had that is common to a Focus is the ignition locking up and needing that whole block replaced, I think. But who knows. If this costs a whole heck of a lot, then I very probably will do that.

As for the tow truck dude, he was an individual contractor, so no boss to call. He did shut up after I gave him the go to hell look and told him to back off, though, so yay me.

If it's not covered under your extended warranty, go see one right away, especially if it's more than a couple hundred bucks (and it very well possibly will be - sounds like a computer module fried itself).

Yes, indeedy, yay you, and a ^5 from me, as well!

Everything. Everyone. God I hate depression. I can see the problems, I know whats going on, and yet I can't do anything about it. Futility breeds depression, anger.

inconsiderate f**ckers who don't take any consideration to a child's special needs/special diets when they have a child in their daycare/classroom and not want to be educated about how they can help the special needs child feel included

F*** Y**

The idiot who owns one of the companies I work for. I'ma need you to not run your mouth about me until you know what the hell you're talking about, kthanxbi.

Arriving at hospital in good time for my 9.30 a.m. consultant's appointment ater referral from my GP. Finally getting to see him at 11.20 a.m. Explaining that I had been referred because my poor hearing makes my volunteer work taking phone calls very difficult as I VERY often have to ask (very distressed) people to repeat themselves, where others don't have to.... that I've even had others listen in to my calls and they have confirmed that they can hear when I can't.

After speaking quietly to me, and seeing that I could hear him, he announced that there was nothing wrong with my hearing and my problem must just be that I don't pay attention to people. He wouldn't have said that if he could see me manning the phones, one finger stuck in my other ear, grimacing and straining as I ask a suicidal person to repeat the same comment for the third time. :(

But there we are. Apparently I'm fine and just need to start listening properly.
