What the fuck is wrong with Hillary Clinton?

Remember the good old days when the best example of a "ruthless" politician that anyone could come up with was Bobby Kennedy?

Somebody help him out. He's been swimmin' with bow-legged women.

Glibness isn't cool - it just reveals character...

While I enjoy Robert Shaw as an actor... I must confess I'm not familiar with all the characters he has portrayed.

I bow to your vast knowledge of things Kultural, Kooky.

Jesus Christ. Look at your AV.

You've gone and made me explain the joke. I need a nap now.

You have to learn how to laugh Dix. I don't know if you misspelled the above or not but even a chimp can see the manipulation of the masses by the establishment press, and instinctively knows a frog isn't a Prince.:D

Come on, Vett. "The Media" isn't doing anything. Pundits, editors, reporters, bloggers, columnists, talk show hosts, etc do things. It's tired to wag your finger and inform us about what the "media" is doing.

Well, she's right to. She was groomed, and she got here on merit. And that's where the sense of entitlement comes in. But it feels more than that. It feels like a holy crusade now.

It's --- odd.

I'm sorry but I have to disagree.

It is totally within character for her and most politicians to act as if they are entitled. They "paid their dues" with the party, etc. - they forget that it isn't the party they are serving, it is the people. Of course, if serving the people was ever their goal they forgot that a long time ago, and it comes through - their real goal is the acquisition of power.

It is Obama's actions and character (at least on the surface - I don't know him well enough to know if he really is this way) that are odd - for a politician. I haven't watched him that much since I am not going to vote for him anyway, but for the most part he doesn't seem to show any hidden disdain for the "little people", he doesn't seem to want to do anything he has to for power, he seems to want to be inclusive instead of divisive, he seems to go for the upbeat message instead of playing to people's fears. That and other things he does and says seems odd for a politician - refreshing, but odd. I think it is why people want to vote for him.

Oh, please. The "Chattering classes", then? It's old to be disingenuous, also. ;)

Vette is my kind of Fascist, as are AndyJack and the Scribe of the Great White Whale. :D

See, Post-Cheney and cabal... there IS hope for the REAL G.O.P.

Anyone who hasn't heard lots of McCain supporters saying fair things about Sen. Obama is back in the "old-speak" of Billary, Jesse's (Helms & Jackson) and Bird.

Come on Dix, "Pundits, editors, reporters, bloggers, columnists, talk show hosts" are all media as far as I'm concerned, and if you don't think they are shaping the debate with their own bias you need to look again. Tell me NBC, MSNBC, CBS, ABC, don't have dog in this fight, tell me that between the two they don't favor Obama over McCain.

Well, conservative pundits do not give a shit about McCain that's for sure.
