I'm quite certain he'd like to. But I've become certain that Edwards will turn it down.
Why do you think this?

He's said it.

That's Robert Shaw... he's not even a Yank.
He's said it.
Somebody help him out. He's been swimmin' with bow-legged women.
When? Recently?
Glibness isn't cool - it just reveals character...
While I enjoy Robert Shaw as an actor... I must confess I'm not familiar with all the characters he has portrayed.
I bow to your vast knowledge of things Kultural, Kooky.![]()
why is that? It's the media telling us that they are divided and they need to heal..... Also, you just know Hillary will take this thing all the way to the convention, she's like that.Vett --- you're being a chump.
You know, and I know, that she completely understands what happened in Michigan and Florida. Yet she spins it like dervish and lies right to your face.
I think she's calling you stupid.

The "Media".
You talk about it like kids talk about Japanese Monster Movies.

You have to learn how to laugh Dix. I don't know if you misspelled the above or not but even a chimp can see the manipulation of the masses by the establishment press, and instinctively knows a frog isn't a Prince.![]()

Well, she's right to. She was groomed, and she got here on merit. And that's where the sense of entitlement comes in. But it feels more than that. It feels like a holy crusade now.
It's --- odd.
So's your mother. Explains a lot, doesn't it?
Come on, Vett. "The Media" isn't doing anything. Pundits, editors, reporters, bloggers, columnists, talk show hosts, etc do things. It's tired to wag your finger and inform us about what the "media" is doing.

I'm sorry but I have to disagree.
It is totally within character for her and most politicians to act as if they are entitled. They "paid their dues" with the party, etc. - they forget that it isn't the party they are serving, it is the people. Of course, if serving the people was ever their goal they forgot that a long time ago, and it comes through - their real goal is the acquisition of power.
It is Obama's actions and character (at least on the surface - I don't know him well enough to know if he really is this way) that are odd - for a politician. I haven't watched him that much since I am not going to vote for him anyway, but for the most part he doesn't seem to show any hidden disdain for the "little people", he doesn't seem to want to do anything he has to for power, he seems to want to be inclusive instead of divisive, he seems to go for the upbeat message instead of playing to people's fears. That and other things he does and says seems odd for a politician - refreshing, but odd. I think it is why people want to vote for him.
Come on Dix, "Pundits, editors, reporters, bloggers, columnists, talk show hosts" are all media as far as I'm concerned, and if you don't think they are shaping the debate with their own bias you need to look again. Tell me NBC, MSNBC, CBS, ABC, don't have dog in this fight, tell me that between the two they don't favor Obama over McCain.
