Well, it’s demanding. But there’s huge level of respect and trust involved and when the Dom and sub are both committed to each other it builds even more deep trust and allows both to learn about their limits and desires.

Well our hospital got the official word that layoffs will start. They are reviewing probationary employees at this time. No timeline on when or how.
I had 5 years of previous federal service with the Dept of Veterans Affairs and just last week I got word that it has been officially connected to my current time in service putting me at 8 years and fully vested. I needed that and I’m thankful for the timing.
I feel for everyone.

As if vets don't have it bad enough, now we're cutting staff at hospitals that care for them? I didn't think I could despise those guys more. I was wrong.

And it's hard to be happy when others are suffering, I know.
I know this is not the place for politics, but I can't help but wonder how shortsighted politicians really are? You now have a President that says he come in peace and with the next breathe threatens to take over parts of Denmark and Panama. If he does the later there will be wounded soldiers. I know Denmark aren't a big military nation. I live next to it. But they have enough to wound some soldiers. So who will take care of those?
Anyway! I agree with you. It's hard for those who loose their jobs. It can not be easy to find new jobs for them in Alaska.
