Suppose you walk into a bar or party full of people socializing - a big bar, with hundreds if not thousands of people all hanging out and talking. Out of all those people, there are two or three who say shitting things to you.

Do you immediately start flailing you arms and talking about how the whole party sucks and everyone there is a huge asshole? Do you follow those two or three people around fighting with them? Do you walk up to random strangers and talk nonstop about how those two or three people are big fat meanies?

OR do you walk around until you find someone else to talk to?

If you spend time reading threads, you'll probably find people you gel with. Put the people who are troubling you on Ignore if they are really ruining your experience. Or just ignore them.

It's possible that there's a part of you that enjoys engaging in flame wars, and that's why you're obsessing. That's fine. Lots of people enjoy flame wars. Just be honest with yourself, and stop painting yourself as a victim when you're an active participant in the flaming.
