15yo son #1 had an allergic reaction to a new brand of cold meds: rash all over his body that turned into blisters, GROSS. I took him to the Urgent Care, where they gave him a shot of Benadryl and told me he'd get sleepy. Approx. 30 minutes later, on the way home, we had this exchange:


Son: Mom, something is wrong with my eyelids.

Mom(driving): oh yeah? like what?

Son: like, the way they really, really want to be closed.


I quickly glance over at son and he is LITERALLY holding his eyelids open with his fingers.
