What was the last thing you watched on Netflix?

BB was my favorite. I couldn’t get into Better Call Saul, either.

ETA: El Camino was pretty good though.

Thank you for that. I watched it and yes it was great too. I was rather hoping his character got to live his dream - I like a happy ending :)

I have that on my watchlist but have not played it yet

I didn't know the storyline, just jumped in, thought it was just a normal psychological thriller. Was fair to good (you know when characters do stuff that make you want to throttle them), until the last episode which was bloody brilliant :D

I'm in the middle of watching Spotlight. Hoping to finish it tonight. So far it is very good.

relatively new to NetFlix, but saw a trailer for Queen's Gambit, and tuned in.

TBH it started out as fairly depressing, and I almost abandoned it.
But once into the main story-line, found it to be an interesting
& well-done period piece.

A virtually perfect mix

Just curious, and feel free to give suggestions :)

According to Netflix, I watch way too many documentaries, anything military related, jail related, and cop dramas.

Right now, I'm watching The Following.

I think you're expected to watch more of their 'based on comic characters' movies and their rich selection of B movies and vapid comedies (especially ANYTHING with high school kids in it).

Perhaps Netflix should have levels that you can click on, such as

'Doesn't suffer fools gladly, has a dry wit and doesn't find solitude lonely'

or any other way a person might characterize themselves as

Meanwhile, looks as though Season 11 of SHAMELESS won't arrive until at least August this year, so perhaps it's time to watch HOMELAND again lol

(PS - I hunger for documentaries, but download dozens from Youtube, using 4kvideodownloader - copy them to sticks and that's a full winter's viewing at any decent Antarctic Research Station (a great location for a revamped BIG BROTHER, as long as the participants are smart enough to know not to pee outside.

Queen's

I found it wonderful at the start but then gradually became disabused as she gradually became something of a jaded alcoholic - overall well worth watching

Dark, darker, darkest

Dark. I am half way through Season 2 and still not sure what I think.

I can't figure it out either. It is so slow-moving and cryptic, with few truly engaging characters. I understand 'almost' enough German to follow without subtitles so I expand my vocabulary, but . . . . However, after watching a few episodes I start to feel obligated to continue; a creeping sense of guilt attends if I just abandon it as some do to aging wives or mothers, slipping into their dotage.

There was a one-season Norwegian series on Netflix about a year or so ago, which also had creepy places and supernatural events but which seemed to slide along less counter-intuitively.

I enjoy your nic, Ma'am

Carl (I rarely do that)

Season 8 episode 2 of Naked and Afraid. (Hulu / Discovery Channel - not Netflix),

Survivalist reality show.

A male Navy Seal and a female dive instructor who have never previously met are dropped off together in a life-raft and must survive for 21 days.

This is my favorite episode I've seen yet. The stoic Navy Seal begins with no patience for his partner but learns to appreciate her contribution and understand his own weaknesses.
